That is classic democrat behavior. His whole “I talk to farmers” schtick really wasn’t working on me either, I currently work on a farm and it feels like we are just propped up as a way to get votes but our voices are never really heard.
As wack as the democrats are though, they are still way better than the republicans. JD and Donald want to hand the country over to tech billionaires and let them continue to siphon all the money from the working class. In the past 4 years I have seen most of the bridges in my area get fixed and the farm I work at get funding for a big infrastructure upgrade, paid for by the feds. So for me it’s still an easy choice

NYC has gotten bad lately. It's always been a mess but every day there is more migrant crime being reported.
Mayor Adams, a democrat, has finally been pushing back against it and now the DOJ has indicted him for all of these crimes nobody has ever heard of. personally it sounds like the Biden admin has gone after him for going against the migrant agenda. I'm sure there's way more to the story though.

Roe V Wade was never going to be permanent. The reasoning for it made no sense and even Ginsburg didn't think it would hold up to future scrutiny. This should be and always should have been a legislative issue.
I think there's actually room for compromise with a 12-15 week window/limit (like most civilized countries have) but the dems just refer to anything less than 23 weeks (which is literally killing a baby) as a ban and refuse to negotiate. There are some hardline Christians who will not give up without a full ban, but that's a minority, even among Republicans and they can be worked around.
