Death to me is something that frightens me, If i start to think about it to much it makes me a nervouse wreck, I don't believe in Religion so what happens after we die?, It scares me that once i die thats it, Also the fact that someday my parents will be gone is just to wierd and freaky for me to understand. If we only live once and when we die we are jusdt dead left to rott and thats it. I realize why should i spend my life, working, making deadlines and so on. Right now im being pressured to make plans for my future, go to universtity or college. But all i can think of is why waste such pressioce time we have here on earth, i want to make the most of my life, live it to its fullest, What do you guys think? does death scare you?

Well death used to really scare me when i thought about it. Then someone close to me died and my whole view of death changed, i no longer fear death becuase theres no reason to fear it. theres simply nothing u can do to prevent it, and its gonna happen sooner or later so i just dont let myself be too scared by it. As for when im living i guess i just want to get the most out of it, but that is way harder than it sounds.

Im not scared of death. Im scared of what effect my death would have on my loved ones. Like my parents and brother...or in the future my wife and kids... makes me sad to think how gutted they would be.

And I reckon that when you die you just get born as something else. Like obviously you don't know anything about your 'past life'... But you would be born as perhaps a dog, in the year 5003 or something, and perhaps on a different planet. Actually it's probaly likely a differnet planet..seeing how big the universe is and shit

i'm not religious.. but i am into spirituality, so i beleive there is 'something' after death. I have no idea what, but something.

If there is really a heaven and hell, i dont see why some people should suffer for eternity in hell for what they did in 70 years on earth. Unless you are Hitler or something. No one should spend eternity in paradise either because of a few good things they did in their life.

appskier, in my denomination of christianity hell is just the 'lake of fire' where evil is completely consumed and obliterated. hell is not an eternal suffering. A belief in Heaven and salvation is a very comforting belief that has alot of evidence to back it up. id rather have that than nothing at all

A somewhat religious friend of mine gave me his personal definition of heaven and hell as this: After death, we all go to the same place. When we die, we see how our actions affected others. So if we do a lot of good in life, we will see a lot of joy in our after life and will be in a STATE of heaven. Whereas if you see a lot of hatred, you will be in a STATE of hell.

So basically he defines heaven and hell as a state of mind. I like that definition, and I also believe that now.

I'm Christian, and I believe in Heaven, but not really in Hell. In my opinion, people are put onto Earth to proove themselves pure enough to enter Heaven. When you die, you've sort of passed a test that lets you into Heaven. You die, collect 200 dollars and go straight to Heaven. This idea comforts me, because I've know a lot of people who have died, both young and old, and I like thinking that they've prooved themselves pure enough to advance to Heaven makes me feel a lot better. This is just my opinion though.

Whenever i first to seriously start to think about it, it scares me alittle, but then it sorta goes away and I realize to not to worry about that and to live every day~~

I think Heaven is what you want it to be~I think its ur own person paradise and that you can have people in your Heaven that have already died and when others on earth die they get to join u in ur personal paradise~~

Death... i never really think about it...

Thinking right now, the only part that scares me is how other people would hurt. Like the people closeto me, and who care about me.

you know, i've tried to think of what i want to to before i die. all i know is that i dont want to die a virgin, and i dont want to die without leaving a will that instructs all of my family and friends as such:

at my funeral, you've got to jump on your chair whenever you hear my name. next: burn all my writing in a big pot at the front of the school (where my funeral will be held) then everybody get naked and parade around the town. then i want my head cut off, and shrunken like they do in south america. i want my head given to *enter some hot guys name here* and he must wear it around his neck until he has fucked 333 women. but that might be difficult with the head around his neck. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I wonder if it's like a dream or reality ?? ... Is it like a dream forever ?? Something like the Matrix ?? our entire world could be that, but i really don't think it is. I live my life pretty good not worrying about death, but you can't help it. Sure i do some things i shouldn't, but i've not done some things cause i think a higher being thinks its wrong or maybe its because of fear or repect. It's so weird and kinda scary. Heaven would be skiing all day and playing baseball all night. peace

Anyways, back to the topic. I'm not at worried about death because the very concept of death is unlogical. I worry much more about not living. hmmmm... maybe the whole notion of the ''afterlife'' which is so popular with religions, came about because of thinking too much about death. the way think about it is like this: When you die, you're not dead, you're no longer alive, which sucks. Death is just a label given to a undescibable comcept. Like the Void, or Enlightenment. Eh.
