That company sucks, the never honor their warranties, always give u some bullshit about how they are out of warranty or how u shouldnt have been doing that... fuck them
i feel your pain, they fucked up my bindings too and they wanted me to pay the difference cuz they put a more expensive version on, they stopped making the ones i had
actually i have had my solomon 1080s for 3 years and they still kick ass. I rail them harder than anybody and they still have all edges in tact. Unfortunateley i had them so long that i outgrew them so i just bought the same model in a different size and I bought the pocket rockets. I dont have to worry about warranties because they kick so much ass. Deal with it
maybe he knows how to ski in a way that doesn't screw his skis up. maybe you don't. maybe you were jibbing some concrete. maybe you wern't, and solomon sucks. maybe you should simma down. I havn't had any problems sith solomon, and neither has my other buddy who has had teneighties for 3 years. his still ski like they were designed to. learn how to ski.
So I was sitting there the other day enjoying a delicious spotted owl taco when along comes this walrus of a woman wearing a midriff t-shirt, exposing her flabby disgusting lard-filled gut as she lumbered along. I stood up so I could get a clear shot of her because I was about to barf up my lunch, when I suddenly realized that I was surrounded by nasty fat chicks with giant saggy guts.
true that salomon has had a bit of problems with theire skis but u know what... this site wouldn't exist if it wasn't for them. They basically provided the tools for newschool skiing, so just cause everybody beats the fuck out of their skis doesn't mean that u should get new ones. Salomon has put out for so much warrenties, no wonder why that can't honor everybodies anymore. They wouldn't be making any money. If u bust a ski in half though they will honor that even after your warrenty has ran up. Just a hint....
whoa, thats total bullshit. So what your saying is if salomon sayd no to szocs and mike douglas back in the day, they would have gone home quit trying to promote newschool?? They were important in getting things started but if they didnt do anything, im pretty sure we would still be newschooling. Theyre not THAT important as to say that the site wouldnt exist w/o them

''...ride away clean and smiling, and taunt the rail by waving around your middle finger at it. (Note: if you have mittens on then it's important to take them off before preforming this procedure.'' -Boyd Easley (on rail sliding)
yeah but it was douglas and dorion that presented salomon with th ten eighty idea. And i still am going to go with solly having a big impact on skiing. remember philou's switch backflip? that wouldn't have happened that year without solly
Show some respect, salomon is a good company, my blue teneightys broke and they sent ma a brand new pair of 2003 teneightys, i have never had a problem with their s-912 bindings prereleasing and their boots are real comfertable.
I believe that if you traet your equiptment with respect by waxing and tuning you have a better chance of getting replacements if they brake.
now i know it blows ass you dont have any skis but you've gotta look at it from a different perspective. Warranties are for problems with skis that are factory defects and the like... warranties do not cover slamming your skis repeatedly into metal rails on constantly crashing into icy landings. It does blow but warranties do not cover the things we do to our skis, plain and simple
thnaks you almost, that is totally what i was trying to say. It's like a motorbike. Its a transportation device, you bust it up jumping a 120 foot gap and that's your problem. Skis breaking on rails. It's your problem. Breaking a tip off landing backwards, you'll probably get warrenty.
Rob, if I'm not mistaken, Jay Levinthal gave him the lines... but yeah. No sponser for Philou. I have salomon skis, boots and bindings... kind of a coincedence. I wouldn't get salomon skis again though, but I've have no major trouble with them.
rossignol is the way to go, they kick ass with warranty. My little brother snapped two skis in half from missing a gap, boom new skis no questions asked. Busted a par on a rail, boom upgraded to scratches, once again no questions.
Whats wrong with weighing 400, what fat people cant get their warranties honored..... or maybe its cause im not fat and they just dont feel like replacing my skis
my brother has the cusson 1080's and me and chris speer popped the cap off and then gave salomon some lame story and they sent me 2003 181's..... it only took 7 days there and back... thats fast!!!
