Death sentence for selling weed

My buddy went to burning man this year and he said that there were flyers about a guy getting the death sentenece for dealing weed. It said that if you sell 60,000 kg of weed,or 60,000 seeds, or 60,000 plants then you could get the death sentenece. thats fucked.
 
DUde, seriously stop creating threads. Enough is enough, you shouldn't have that much to talk about, it's annoying.
 
i dont beleive that for a second. as far as i know the only reason you get the death sentence is for killing other people.
 
im montana you can go to jail longer for makin and destributing meth then like some sort of murder like murder 2 or somthin like that

the government is wasting so much money on trying to prevent drugs. anyone ever watch that penn and teller show 'bullshit' on shotime? they have an episode about 'the war on drugs' and they bring up some damn good points.
 
This is a lie. I am writing a 20 fucking page paper on capital punishment. Although such fun facts as you could get the death sentance for stealing a turnip (This was changed circa 11892 i beleive)

YOU CANNOT get the death penalty anymore for crimes that are not murder. PERIOD
 
well i know you can serve life in prison for drug chrges. and thats just a death sentence where you have alot longer to think about, while getting pounded in the ass at the taxpayers expense.
 
yes i forgot treason and turncoating, but how often does that really happen, it wasnt worth mentioning in this thread.
 
oh and if you ignore a command from your superior officer in the military in a combat sitation he can shoot you on the spot

No what this kid is saying is acctually sorta true. The founder of Emery seeds, an online site that sells weed seeds was caught and brought into the US by the DEA. And yes, the maximum he could recieve is the death penalty. He hasn't been sentenced yet though. Thats basically the lowdown and it really shows you just how fucking retarded our government is.

It's about a british dope smuggler called Howard Marks, the DEA made his life hell, extradited him from spain (or somewhere mediteranean) and put him in a super hardcore federal prison where they would normally put the total psychos.
