Yeah i nailed one today at like mach 5. luckily it hit both my skis fairly evenly and forced me into a wider stance. 3 inches the left or right and i would have been toast. damn flat light.

well im just going to be the dumb one and ask what the fuck a death cookie is

Oh man they suck. Usually its from when fresh snow has been in a slide and it breaks into big chunks. And for some reason god only knows these chunks freeze into pretty much SOLID ice. In flat light you cant see em and depending on thier size and how fast you hit them (can get much bigger than basket balls) your reaction can range from what the fuck was that? to you being carted off the mountain with your knee pointing the wrong way.
