Sorry fuckers, all it does is rain, we are all hicks and our skies are filled with enough co2 to make you think that each house has a 19th century coal plant in the back of it~
 
I love Seattle more than any place I've ever been. Everytime I travel I realize how sick seattle is.
Lets hope Sarkisian can turn the football team around!
 
haha and whats funny is that in alot of places in and around new england they get more annual rainfall than we do...and we have a kickass wnba team as well...and what about the puget sound...there is no waterway even close to as unique as it is. plus great skiing

and there isnt only hicks out here...where i live there are very weird creatures called "greeners" totally unique to the area

dont get me wrong im pretty damn conservitive so i might fall under the hick category of lots of guns and a lifted truck but i challenge you to find some place even comparable to the beauty of wahington or the whole pacific northwest for that matter

Sorry bro but when you say that your WNBA team is "kickass" you loose all sports respect.

The PNW is really beautiful though I liked it up there. A lot better than the East coast.

Colorado still dominates all though.

Haha. Lets start in LA then.

If you want park, go to Mt. High. its 1 hour from the beach

If you want pow, go to Mt. Baldy. Also 1 hour away.

If you really feel like it, go 2.5 hours east to Bear and Snowsummit.

Then, if youre in San Francisco, you can surf at Ocean Beach in the AM, then tear up i80 and 3.5 hours later you can ski at boreal, or Squaw until 9pm.

 
l.ll give you that you can get to squaw... but thats still almost 4 hours away, an as for the other two mountains... well I would never really consider going to those places...
 
4 hours is nothing if you're still skiing from like 2-9

the other 'two' mountains? I just named like 6 total dude...

Mt Baldy is steep as fuck, Big Bear's legit.. Mt High has a pretty effin legit park, and same with boreal. Snow Summit has some sick park shit too.

So... why not consider?
 
I guess I'm used to the 15 minute drive to Bridger Bowl Montana, and insane terrain or Big Sky... All those places in Cali could have nice park skiing but I don't drive up the mtn just for park, Ill usually only hit the park a few times a day.
 
Haha, you spoiled ass... most californians are used to driving at least an hour or two for snow.. and really its not that bad.

I'm actually probably moving up to Missoula soon, so i'll be in the same state.

and theres surfing in missoula on the clark fork, i guess so woot. haha
 
Little German town ehh.... haha well you have access to Stevens and Mission at least but I'm a big fan of Crystal so that's not so convenient for me
 
Cali is pretty sick but the vibe in Colorado is a lot better. But for geography probably cali because we don't have an ocean but we can afford to pay our state employees with real money.

Plus we don't ski on cement most of the year.

If Colorado had to marry another state I would probably take California. Even though I have a bumper sticker on my car that says "Don't Califonricate Colorado"
 
Depends on what vibe your looking for. If i was more into surfing, i wouldnt want to be anywhere but california... but yeah... the ski community is pretty lame here unless you're IN tahoe... and even then, most of them are coming from Reno, nevada anyway.

and, cement doesnt suck... alaska also has the same kinda 'cement'...

lol, and you probably just dont want anyone to SOUTHERN californiacate it. Fuck socal... they make us look truely fucking bad... and they are why our budget problems are in a bad spot.
 
Californians are used to drivign 2 hours for anything. this state is fucked. america is the world's leader in creating waste and cali is america's cultural center.
i suppose its good for you too, because youll be used to it when you have to drive farther for less from missoula.

Hey... Trust me, I wish somebody would actually put some money towards rebuilding our infrastructure... its in shambles.. has been for years... there hasnt even been anything new since BART opened up in the bay area in the 1970-1980s. California is at least getting a high speed train though... bout effing time.

and... wasnt this thread pretty irrelevent anyway haha.

we have the bills (4 superbowls in a row and failed)

and the sabres (always a decent team, sometimes great and get fucked over)

 
so the $50 billion wasted on the new bay bridge was neither new nor putting money toward infrastructure? it was only replacing a bridge that was considered failed since the 1989 loma prieta earthquake.
