Dear people who dont drink from their tap

i dont know if you guys pay attention to bottled water...

DEER PARK has "springs" all around PA. one of the largest ones is in Bangor, PA. 15 minutes from my place. Bangor also has one of the largest waste management facilities in the country haha.

and NESTLE water (poland springs i believe) says straight up on the bottle "bottled allentown, pa public water"
 
Well, I used to always drink from the tap, but then One day there was doodoo in the water and I drank it then got horribly sick.
 
people don't realize that when they buy bottled water, they are paying valuable money for fucking WATER. water is is the most abundant compound on earth don't spend extra money to get it in a bottle you are gonna dump anyway
 
what do you think people did before we had all these filters? they drank it without filtering so you should have no problems drinking water thats on most times cleaner and better for you than bottled water
 
they do thats why people are urged to not use them but the filters take just about everything out depending on how up to date your well pump/filter system is
 
lol come drink my tap water and tell me its the same as bottled water.

but yeah youre right having the choice between tap and bottled sucks we should outlaw bottled water or something.
 
the water in my area is exceptionally good. i was recently at football camp in Mass. and the tap water had a bad taste to it. but around here, its great.
 
i have no choice. when i want water i have to wlak my ass outside and go to the well, lower the bucket and bring it up. you people and your filters are too worried about whats in the water. what does not kill you makes you stronger.
 
i inadvertently swallow gallons and gallons of mississippi/rock river water every summer and i'm pretty sure i have a rock solid immune system because of it. drank central american tap water for a week (against recommendations) without ever getting sick. bottled water is over rated.
 
water thats comes out of a hose tastes good...

but i have filter in my fridge in my dorm cause the water from those sinks doesn't taste or look too clean. I'm sure it's perfectly safe to drink though.
 
and bottled water is colder when you buy a 36 pack? You're a fucking idiot, it's called a refrigerator

Tap water is awesome, I drink at least 1.5 gallons a day. I agree with the guy further up, all these sissies drinking bottled water probably have shitty immune systems.

My tap water tastes delicious. It's slightly sweet, and much better tasting than bottled water.

Isn't most US tap water fluoridated by the government?
 
i dont always drink from the tap, but this is because we have a well, and sometimes tha water smells like sulfur. When it does i drink filtered or bottled water until we test it, but I think thats a little different than what the people op is reffereing to are doing
 
only time I don't drink it is when I know the piping in a house I'm staying at is sketchy, or the tap is rusty/ has weird stuff in/on/around it. other than that I'm a tap or fridge guy.
 
usually only at hotels or schools....

as i said, my tap water is god's own urine. it just has that perfect, absolutely neutral taste. Toss some ice (frozen tap water of course) in with it, and you have the most perfect refreshing drink known to man.
