Dear PC Park Guys

I know you guys have checked forums in the past and shit. So... Canyons is posting ridiculous new features every day to get kids stoked. 3 road gaps, chain link wall ride, new rails, etc. Can we get an update on some new shit PC is planning, rumors, pictures, anything? All this canyons shit is making me re-think my pass situation.

You know Park City's park will be worlds better yet again than the Canyons. Plus it will be open way sooner, it always does...

Worlds better, open sooner, and it doesn't take 4 lifts/gondolas/cabriolets (like an hour and a half) to get to the park. I've re-thought my pc pass for a little bit recently too. The canyons does look like they will have some sick jibs but they have not built legit jumps in years.

i dont understand how the canyons is going to build road gaps. do they have a park pass or something?

canyons is super fun to shred a few days out of the year to mix it up, but it is not a legit replacement for pc. don't sweat it your pass will be well worth it. By the time I'm done shredding the home run park I'm already stoked on my pc pass.

Yeah, the homerun park is reason enough to buy a pc pass, having a dope early season park is a must.

got a pc and canyons pass for this year just in case, never skied in canyons so i was worried about it not being worth it, these updates make me pretty stokedd.

Chris, get a canyons pass! The only reason I'm getting that is because its about $300 cheaper since they offer the "no brainer"

Yeah... I agree and I ski PC. By February all of the landings in King's filled in and were far too flat. For how much space and money PC puts into their park it should be hard to make a poor park. My expectations, based on PC last year, are really low, so I'm really hoping this dude can do something... anything.

That would be sick. The stuff I used to see from June was sick... if he's the same guy that's been there for years. Back when June used to have Parkasaurus it was wild. where did you hear this?

PC was legit as hell last year...I skied everywhere...most of you fukers who talk shit on pc aren't even that good...Canyons is good for a month....what happens when everyone doesn't support pc and they decide it's not worth it anymore and then you've got canyons and brighton for parks in ut?

The head park manager from June came to my local mountain in Central New York like 2 seasons back when June Mountain closed really early on in the year because they didnt have snow or something anyway he completely turned the park around there (given that it was shitty before it was a drastic improvement.) Im sure it wont be as drastic of an improvement if he does end up coming to PC but everyone should rest easy if he does because he is a really good guy who has lots of good ideas and is very creative when it comes to designing and building new features. I personally hope he ends up coming to PC because pictures from Junes Park last year looked sooo sick

see it's legit to say PC is sick when you compare it to other UT parks, but go to Breckenridge or Mammoth and you'll realize how bitch made PC is. it's consistently rated a top park, but in my mind it shouldn't even be on the lists. mountains on the east coast even make better parks than PC, Mt Snow and Loon to be specific. hell i'm pretty sure last year Loon had like a 5 line of legit jumps before PC even started thinking about blowing on king's.

but you're still right, best park in UT. although it doesn't seem to take much anymore.

what does being good have to do with noticing that park crew guys not doing shit. Anyone can see when shit needs to be worked on or when landings are too flat.

Have you spent a year at mammoth???? I have. they go through the same shit...everyone bitches cause their park crew doesn't do shit during the day...the park is sick most of the time, but then it goes through spells when it sucks...and then everyone says it's the worst thing ever...breck never changes cause it's a frozen tundra...they have a sick park, but never change a feature all year long...how often do you travel to these places???...i've spent a lot of time competing everywhere....mt snow and loon...spend two weeks straight there and then tell us how you feel...get your head out of your asss.....

welp, i haven't spent more than 2 weeks at either of those other locations but everything was pretty much perfect everyday i was at either. except when superpark was going on at mammoth, but even then their park was better than pc.

i wasn't really meaning to talk shit on pc because i always have ridiculous amounts of fun when i ski there, it just bothers me that it gets rated so high when there are sicker parks.

but it's all besides the point of this discussion, it would be nice if they gave some updates, the blog on pcride.com get updated occasionally, but no preseason stoke out feature shots or anything.
