Dear Level 1/Warren Miller-The ending of Refresh is amazing. Gives me the chills sometimes

I recently bought Refresh and first off this movie is amazing. So sick. Such good riding and skiers, and put together soooo well. Now the ending of this, right after Wiley Milller's part seriously gives me the chills when I watch it. When Warren comes in, and starts talking, he just sums it all up, that skiings just about getting out there and enjoying passion of skiing, and the company your with. I feel like we forget about that a lot of times. Especially recently, and this movie really does REFRESH what its all about.

Yea^^ for sure, there good along with the whole movie, but I'm kinda just talking about when Warren starts talking until the credits start. I just think its epic.
 
I've seen it 1000 times and I still get that feeling. Like everything is right in the world. He sums up every reason any of us skis in a few short sentences.
 
I decided that Im not able to watch refresh anymore... unless I can walk out my door right after and go ski.
 
Got major chills during his speech at the Powder awards. Such a badass dude. When I'm his age I hope I've accomplished half of what he has. Warren is a very inspirational person.
 
i fully am stoked on warren miller and his involvement and shit..but i don't understand how that movie got so much attention on here. like it REALLY wasn't that great. not even close to one of their best
 
Dam dude, I literally got the chills as soon as I read what warren miller says. Its that powerful. I love Refresh, I need to buy it.
 
don't mean to thread jack but does anyone else feel like Wiley's segment is out of place. your watching and you see the most epic Mammoth sesh ever and then the epic timelapses of the sky and stuff and i feel like Warren should just start talking right there
 
I gotta bump this to add a Warren quote... "if you dont do a double corked 1260 this year... you will be another year older when you do.!" When he said this at the end of refresh... CHILLS

I feel like Warren is one of the few people over 40 who see past the tall tees and afterbang to the love and fun that skiing has been about since the beginning
 
This...He understands that skiing is skiing. Even though it has progressed immensely over the years and the style has changed completely, you still get that same feeling of excitement and commrodery when you get to the bottom of a run with your friends.
 
Well this is just my opinion, but the reason I liked it more than any other movie I've ever seen was the way it was put together. The theme with Warren and Josh just talking about what skiing is to them is my favorite feature, and because I can relate to that I very much enjoy it.

The soundtrack was also pretty sweet :)
 
i found the movie really banger, especially the Mammoth shoot. i have chills every time i see that HUGE kicker they built.
 
I literally know exactly what you are talking about. The first time I watched "refresh" the ending was so inspiring I ended up changing my name to refresh. The ending just gives me a lot of good vibes. I'm gonna go watch it now.
 
Refresh is such a good movie...I just skip the urban sections.
If Re:Session had the awesome commentary of Refresh, it would get my vote.
 
I bought a copy last night and watched it this morning. I know what you're saying. I was amazed by WM's piece at the end. Gave me chills.
 
My buddy always tries to fastforward through Miller's segs and all I say is

"woah woah woah fuck face, what you think your doing?"
 
REFRESH made my year, i cant stop watching it. shame that its been summer over here and i still got like 3 months still some snow, after watching refresh over and over i think the wait is literallly killing me
