Dear Everyone, Dont Ask John Kerry Controversial Questions!

They were trying to escort him out but he was getting all jumpy screaming "get the fuck off of me" where they decided to put the cuffs on him.

Probably check who your talking to before you think I don't know what I'm talking about, security oh yeah that is my job complete with powers of arrest etc...oh and right yes I have arrested people who are resisting sooo shut the fuck up, a taser is a last resort weapon it is a LESS lethal weapon and should only be used when the officer thinks he or she is in imminent danger of injury or death get it. A dude, already on the ground wiggling is not enough to justify a taser, there are all kinds of techniques that I can use to get you in cuffs, they hurt and act like a lever....pain is a good motivator. Putting their hands on him at the beginning was not how I would have done it and that was probably why he was so aggressive cutting the mike like they did and trying to talk him out BEFORE going to physicality is what I would have done...but then I OBVIOUSLY dont know my shit right.

Kerry actually addressed the questions as they were dragging him away. They used excessive force, that's all there is to it.

I don't think so, they asked him to sit down, they warned him, the cops came over to escort him out of the building but he started hollaring screaming "get the fuck off of me, why am I being arrested, get the fuck off of me" where they tried to arrest him, he continued this little demonstration until they finally had enough of it and used force.

People should be allowed to ask any question they want. Can the president deny answering? Of course. The guy did nothing wrong, and if i were him, would have done the exact same thing.

No, you can't. The talk wasn't about Bush, it wasn't about him being in a secret society, the kid was OBVIOUSLY trying to stir shit up and they cut him off, that's it.

Haha, you think they were gonna have a chat and then let him back in? Get a clue.

He asked a question they didn't like, so they dragged his ass outta there. And with 6 cops, they couldn't get handcuffs on a 21 year old kid whos on his stomach on the floor with his hands behind him, so they had to taze him? Bullshit.

The police should have no right to physically touch you because they don't agree with what you're saying.

Unless you live in Nazi Germany.

The Point is this.

He can ask what fucking ever question he wants.

When do 4 retarded cops with most likely NO education get to decide when a question has crossed the line. He got angry for a fucking reason, they used force against his FREEDOM of speech. That is plain wrong. Think of all the "controversial" questions reporters ask bush(the few that do)...does the secret service appear and drag them out and tazer them? No. Why? Because that is fucking wrong. Fuck john kerry, fuck bush, fuck any candidate on the ballot.

This country is such a joke.

and what the fuck is so wrong with trying to stir up shit? he had a valid point and a right to ask the question he was trying to pose. i can promise you that having that kid dragged out and tasered in front of all those people and now on YouTube made Kerry look like more of an ass, even though it wasn't him to did the dragging and tasering, than if the kid had just finished his question, Kerry had answered it, and they had moved on. it never would have been on YouTube and the political bullet would have been dodged. Kerry was a war protester during Vietnam, but seeing stuff like this just adds credibility to republicans' claims that he did all that as a facade to boost his political career. if he really was the strong revolutionary he tried to make himself out to be, he would have let the kid ask the question and he would have answered it to the best of his ability.

fuck the cops.

Skull and bones is real and George Bush is a member too.. its nothing serious though, their main goal is to get their members into positions of power.

At first watching this vid I thought that it was an injustice, but this guy was being an asshole and they tried to escort him out peacefully because of it, and instead he threw a tantrum like a little punk bitch.

Also, I heard that this guy posted a vid on youtube of him ruining the ending of harry potter to people waiting in line to buy the book, he just wanted attention because he has no actual interesting traits.

you guys should read the police reports....they're on cnn.com. numerous witness statements, and the cops' side of the story. but then again, that would be the reasonable and fair minded thing to do, which would mean you guys can't scream "CONSPIRACY! POLICE STATE!" so you probobly won't do it.

Gavajabra you are way way off base with this, the police asked him to stop asking his question before he had even asked one. Thats before he started talking about skull and bones, and before he started yelling impeach bush. In fact they tried to get him to stop talking only after he had introduced himself, thanked kerry and began to preface his first (and rather uncontroversial) question. Now why would the police try to silence him before even asking a question?

Also that was clearly an excessive use of force by those officers, who never informed him why he was being removed. Those officers should all be fired and the one who tased him should have criminal charges brought against him. Also the reason they had to arrest him was clearly clearly bogus, trying to incite a riot? Please that wasn't even close, that was just one idiot ranting.

Watch the video again, and get the facts straight.

"With most likely NO education"

I don't take anybody seriously who post stupid ass fucking statements like this. Stop using this Freedom of Speech bullshit, if I say I have a bomb infront of the president of the united states they don't give a fuck about my freedoms they want me taken care of. The kid should have respected that they didnt want him to go there and sat down, but instead he kept going and therefore they tried to ESCORT (Not use force, you dumb fucks) him out of the building where he RESISTED (As in, tried to avoid being escorted out) to the point where he got out of control (screaming get the fuck off of me) so they got the situation under control (taser). Is that too mother fucking complicated for you?

Fuck you dude, I have 0 respect for anybody who says shit like "fuck the cops", 0. They deal with shit like child rapists, serial killers, crack dealers, gang bangers so you can rest your pretty little head at night not having to worry about somebody breaking into your house and raping you anally.

the non-educated cops thing is bullshit, that's just out of line. but i don't think they should have tasered him, there were about half a dozen cops on one college kid, they could have pretty easily taken him out of the building without fucking injuring the kid.

He started with the statement disenfranchisement of black voters, and when the people asked him to sit down he RUDELY declined and then got into the controversial bit. They didn't try to arrest him, they tried escorting him where he got ancy THEN they tried to arrest him. The police did their job, they got the situation under control after this guy CLEARLy wasn't.

Taser is an incapacitation device police use while trying to get somebody under control, they didn't want to fight him going out of the building. Taser is considered a non-lethal tactic, imagine if the cops had to get ugly with the kid trying to settle him down, this story would be much more controversial.

Gavajabba is right. i dont argue with a lot of what was done, I personally would do some of it differently but in concept the cops didnt do anything that seriously wrong. Kerry probably could have asked them to stop if he wanted to look like he actually listened. I DO argue that there is not really a threat warrenting a taser in this situation.

ah i dont know how creadable fox is, but on the morning show i think they where talking about how this kid has a history of this kind of stuff and actually gave a cammera to a person and told them to video tape it. and that he acts normal when a camera isnt around

It has nothing to do with fucking freedom of speech, they tried to escort him out after he declined their request for him to sit down where cops came to escort him and he got jumpy to the point they had to get him under control. Christ you people act like as soon as he said it they shot him with the taser.

it has everything to do with freedom of speech. unless he was screaming "fire" in a crowded theatre then he has every right to speak his mind. has anyone done research on the vietnam war and all the protest that occured here in America during that time? well if you have then you would know that this was nothing compared to the speeches that happened then. they dont have the whole "everyone is invited" concept for nothing. yea he was a little loud but he is passionate about what he is debating. all he was asking were questions that he wished to be answered and the security had no right what so ever to ask him to leave. if they truly believed that the situation was out of control then they should of asked kerry to exit the stage and just let everything simmer down. OR if he really was a problem then john kerry should of personally addressed it himself.

You actually expect Kerry to respond to a question like "Is it true your part of a secret society [Skull and Bones]"? Come the fuck on. He was getting out of line, they tried to escort him out and he got further out of line, end of the fucking story. I know all about the Vietnam protests hell my aunt was on campus when the kent state shootings happend.

It's the police's job to ask him to sit down before he had even before he had asked a question? It was the police's job to censure this guy and not allow him to ask a question at all? And it was the police's job to use excessive force against him?

I don't know why you are so ardently defending the police when they were clearly in the wrong. What they did was nothing short of brutality and was anything but protecting the general public. Really tell me how he was at all inciting a riot?

They fucking didn't, they asked him to sit down when he started talking about faulty voting machines and the disinfranchisement of blacks. He got his questions asked, the police cut the mic and tried to escort him out when HE got out of line. If he just went along with it they would have walked him out, no harm done, but he was being a dumbfuck and that got him man handled and tased, and getting tased because you're being radical in public IS NOT excessive force.

Also I don't necassarily agree with "inciting a riot" but they weren't brutal with him, they used a non lethal device to gain control over him and that was it. They didn't whip out their night-sticks and beat him into unconciousness.

He didnt ask his questions though. he said he had more, and should have been allowed to ask them. He was not swearing or saying anything illegal. Im not even talking about the whole tasering thing. Im talking about the fact that his FREEDOM OF SPEECH was taken away. Kerry could have easily said "im not at liberty to discuss that matter" and it would be over. what a few hundred in the crowd get suspicious? Now the whole fucking Country knows.

Man have you ever been tased because to be honest i would rather be beaten for a little while then for that to happen to me.

Well it's considered non-lethal because (for the most part) no harm is done, unless you're overloaded on cocaine and redbull then you could have a heart attack and such but anyway, 1 nightstick shot to the head and it could be over for you if they hit you in the sweet spot.

The kid was being a fag, and didn't want to leave. He screamed "WHY ARE YOU ARRESTING ME!?!!?" like a pussy when they just wanted to escort him out of there because he was being a shit disturber.

It actually leaves blisters that swell and then burst leaving an open wound for a few days and then they leave a nasty scar. I would know, my brother got tasered by his “friend” a while back.

no, fuck you dude. I respect the person, not the badge. and the cops where I live have ZERO serious crime to prevent, they don't protect and serve anyone. they bust people for pot, and give speeding tickets, end of story. and they really enjoy it too, I swear I saw one getting a hard-on when he was about to search my car one time. and dont give me any bullshit about this, I am extremely polite and compliant with cops.

I sleep at night because I live in a neighborhood where someone breaking and entering is about as likely as you being over the age of 18. the cops subtract from my peace of mind, since a reckless driving ticket is a 1200 dollar ticket in virginia no.

I respect cops who deal with people like you said. those are not the cops who tasered that kid.

I watched this video, then continued to read these posts. And to pick one to quote reply with an agreement, was this one.

That video was pretty intense. And near the end when he was being tased, I was taken aback. He was being escorted out, with no reason. Just brought to the back of the room. They forced him on his back, and tried to put cuffs on him. How many cops...5/6? And they couldn't get cuffs on? Then the actual tasing, even the girls reactions show that it was unnecessary. It was a bit much, I must say. Being a cop, you can take a different approach to that situation, rather than brute force.

The policemen (and women) failed at their job. Simple as that. It is there responsibility to defuse situations rather than escalate them. They blew that one big time. Though I would a agree the kid was a tactless prick, but he did not deserve to be subjected to that.

P.S. John Kerry is still an asshole.

The kid should have been tased. He was fighting to get loose from the campus police. Imagine if that happen on the street of Florida. They would have knocked him out almost. n He should be lucky and just stop crying about it.

those police officers will be fired at the end of the "investigation". sorry all you kids that agree with this.

doesnt matter with all of the press on this. the president of the school already said they like to encourage political debates, which the police interfered with and then handled the situation poorly. they have the authority so the blame will be placed on them, even if both parties acted like idiots.

The dude was an immature douchebag and the cops overreacted. Both sides are equally responsible for the outcome.

Dude, they give speeding tickets because driving fast is dangerous. Believe it or not, pot is illegal! You can't have it! Fucking dumbass.

They tried to, they tried to escort him out which he didnt comply with and when he got out of control they used force. There was no other way to handle it except for let him continue with his questions which nobody wanted him to do.

the police there messed up the situation, but honestly, that guy definitely desrved to be escorted/arrested, but not necessarily tased (at least when he was).
