deal? scratch FS

yeah they seem like a solid ski and you couldnt go wrong for 240. i would buy most twins if they were that cheap

I thought it was a pretty good deal as well. The only prob is that I'm worried about the stiffness. While I enjoy dropping into the pipe from time to time in not a strict park skier by a long shot. I would be using the ski mainly for some big mountain and off piste skiing. I like the design of the ski for it seems to reflect some principles of snowboarding design in terms of the angled sidewall and its lightweight construction. (If you couldn't tell, im a long time snowboarder getting into skiing again). However, in terms of the construction don't want to get out on the hill and have this thing flopping around like a noodle on me. So, any comments on its stiffness? Does anyone have or demo'd this ski? They also have the 174 but being that I'm 160 5'10' and like to ski fast im thinking the 180 is a better fit. Any objections?

Thanks

i got a pair of ones that were used once and have no scracthes or anything and the are mounted with rossi free 1400 bindings for 250

I really can not make a shred of sense out of this sentence. ;-)

i demoed them at hood during the summer, and i thought they were pretty stiff, but i also like a prtty soft ski.

i'd go with the 180s for sure.....but if you're doing mostly BC they might not be fat enough. they'll work fine but since you're an ex-sb you're probably used to floating on top of pow, which scratch FS's won't do incredibly well.....do they have scratch BC's at this shop? that sounds more like what you want
