Okay so i have this guy offering me brand new deadbolts from this year for 100 bucks. it either those ofr marker griffons..Few questions..What is the weight comparison? Durability? Overall preformance? Better value? Btw i will be mounting these on 161 armada ar6's, im 5 foot 5 about 105 pounds and ski 60% groomers and 40% park on the east coast. im an advanced skier and yes i searchbared and nothing worth a shit

for a hundred bucks they'll be fine, tyrolia makes solid bindings and if you can get them that cheap its better than spending an extra 150 on Griffons that have a somewhat mixed reputation

Marker has probably been the least reliable binding manufacturer in the last 25 years. The term pre-release is pretty synonimous with Marker. Their new line is a lot better, but for reliability, there is no way they are ahead of the other big name brands...

Which Deadbolts are you looking at? The 12 has a different design as the 15 and 18. I've pretty much got the 12's right now (Tyrolia LD12) and I've been using them for the past 5 years or so and they have worked just fine. They release when they need to and don't when they don't need to. I just picked up the 18's but won't be using them until next season, but I have no worries about safety/durability/reliability.

i strongly suggest the deadbolts.i am heavier, and ski more park than you described, and i am also very hard on my bindings, and they have held up great for me all season.plus for 100 bucks, thats a good deal.
my only question is, which deadbolts specifically are they?

really? you have to ask? time for you to get your self checked. griffons are trash. take the deadbolts

go with marker.
when 4frnt left VIST and started having tyrolia(i think them at least) make there bindings they got cheap and shittymy shop guy dropped a pair when he was showing them to me a snapped a wing off hahaha

Tyrolia has one of the most solid and widely used binding platforms on the market. Tyrolia/4Frnt/Fischer/Head/Amlid all use it. Eric Hjorleifson, Jon Olsson, Tanner Hall and Tom Wallisch (for all you park rats that care) all use them. The key is which level of binding you use. The 12 has lots of plastic. The 14/15/17/18 (depending on the company) all use lots of metal and will be more durable, just like any other binding that's out there.

yeah i dont like the plastic shit but if your not heavy enough they wont let you buy the bigger ones.and as for the tyrolia. it must have been that 12s then cuz they were cheap

Get the deadbolts, although not as popular as look/rossi, they are deffinitly up there in durability and weight

i have the old deadbolts, before tyrolia, and theyre really heavy. i heard griffons are cheap and unreliable though. get the tyrolia deadbolts.
