DC shoes waterproof??? ++K

So i waterproofed my DC villan black shoes last night. i woke up and went to put them on when i noticed they were all glossy and werent really black anymore. I want to take this stuff off but im not sure how. is there any way to get it off now that its dry???
 
I think someone told me that if you put them in the dryer it will take the waterproofing out. That is why you aren't supposed to put your ski pants in the dryer. Idk if it will take off the glossy coating, but it is worth a shot
 
Wipe them down with a wet cloth and them let them air dry. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. it will ruin the glue that holds them together. The waterproof spray usually only lasts a couple months and then you have to reapply. wiping them down will get some of it off, next time try spraying them with a non-silicon spray and it will not be as glossy.
