Anyone goin to this on Nov. 9th and 10th? I know it's early, and I know a lot of people on this regional forum probably can't anyway, but PA is pretty close...

Anyway, they're having a rail jam, which looks like fun and a good way to get back in the groove for the season.

do they let people session the setup for a while before they actually make a comp out of it? cause i mainly just wanna kick it on that thing, i suck

i went last year and it was fun as shit. you could probably find time to just hit it if you really wanted, but last year a kid was hitting rails for the first time at the comp and everyone was happpy for him. yeah i definately want to go

yah i saw the battleship setup from like 2 years ago on the RR website, it looks like an insane amount of fun considering it's early november in DC...i mean, im definitely going, but it's good to hear that it's a super laid back atmosphere. im just looking to kick it an have a good time.

Anyone have any ideas of the set up this year? I live about 15 min outa DC, I just didn't get a chance to go down last year.

roundtopriders.com has a vid from the 2005 setup i think. browsing through their vids was how i found out about the expo in the first place. i think the only thing it shows is a battle ship box, but it was pretty cool.

but yeah, i was also wondering about the possible setup for this year. anyone who knows last year's setup might be able to give us a pretty good idea of what it's gona be like.

good response to the thread so far though, im hoping to see a lotta skiers out there. it looks like it's gonna be a fun day.

November 10 & 11, 2007

National Ski & Snowboard Expo at the Dulles Expo Center

We're

bringing the snow to the city! Skiers & Boarders can join us at

the Dulles Expo Center for a 2-day rail jam. $10 per entry, per day

(does not include entry into expo)

Saturday: registration-Noon; Practice-2pm-3pm; Competition starts at 3pm

Sunday: registration-11am; Practice-Noon; Competition starts at 1pm

the set-up that you saw on roundtopriders.com is from when ski roundtop provided the set-up for the rail jam. last year's set-up was not ours(roundtops) and it won't be roundtop's this year as we pulled out of doing that show last year. i think i heard wisp is on board for this event now

yah ill be there definitely, probly saturday afternoon with my brother...i dont know how long im gonna stay though cause he's not gonna hit it or anything, ill probably just mess around for an hour or so and cruise back to georgetown

yah the setup is gonna be wisp's deal, so it'll probably be more like what was at morgantown last weekend...either a flat down box or the DFD from the motown throwdown

If Boulder opens - I doubt I will be bring Nips. sorry guys, now if they don't open, I will be there. Hit me up for an NS sticker, if we are there.
