DayZ standalone

haha... so who came into FOB yesterday? I'm glad that in a post-apocalyptic world, the survivors still know how to get to chads gap from the bottom of Alta. That was honestly hilarious. Sorry about not comm... I really hate side chat, especially in that server. IM me on here and we can link up in TS
 
I just got SA last week. So far everyone I've met has tried to kill me and I'm starting to get lonely. If anyone wants to team up my steam name is Killuminatics
 
Just bought standalone. Starting to figuring everything out. And dieing a lot as well.

Just bumping this thread to find other people to play with.

Definitely not worth 30 dollars by any means... but my hope was that it would cure my boredom until I move back into school in the next couple weeks.

Honestly the whole Idea of early access Is pretty much a big scam. Youre basically paying for a game that, odds are, will never be finished. Day z might be a different case just because it has a huge backing, but who knows. By the time the game even is finished, it probably wont feel anything like the game you bought 2-3 years ago in alpha.

Wait holy shit its not even out of early access yet? Jesus, im just gonna stick with the regular Arma 2 mod
 
DayZ was the shit. We had a solid NS crew going for a while. This standalone looks meh, might redownload arma/dayz or just wait for a refined product to come out.

Pretty much my point. Its taking longer then it should as do most early access games.

The only reason that I bought it was cause it was on sale for $15 and it seemed like it would be decent. Honestly, it is EXTREMELY rough right now. Tons of bugs and not a lot going on. I think it could be fun once they polish it up, but I'm kinda mad I dropped the money right now.
 
I've bought the standalone already, would it be worth it to buy arma 2 just for the mod? It seems like the mod is a lot better then the SA right now.

honestly, its so annoying to find your friends if you try to play with them at this point. And then when you do find them you get killed 2 minutes later by some zombie that glitched through a wall. Unless you have an hour to waste trying to find each other (depending on where you spawn), its not even worth it. Its such a frustrating game right now.
