Dan does come from a well off family but is also a smart, motivated dude who knows how to market himself and take advantage of his situation on social media. He runs numerous businesses, is a successful actor, and has won hundreds of millions of dollars playing poker. He's a good, down to earth, considerate guy (didn't expect this) and surrounds himself with smart, successful, self made people. Plus him and his crew know how to have a GOOD FUCKING TIME.

If anything its a front to launder a shit load of his dads money that fell into his lap. I am saying there has not been 1 high stakes poker pro that has even heard about these games. Let alone someone winning 100s of millions. The biggest games of all time were between "the corporation" and billionaire Andy Beal and since then maybe besides some high stakes games in Macau has anyone won over 100 million. Variance is way to big for that to ever happen..

He was given a bullshit reason to be kicked out, for what was rumored to be mouthing off. He was discharged for violation of range safety or some bullshit.
Just to be allowed into BUD/S is an accomplishment in and of itself. The selection process is rigorous enough all by itself. Spending one day there is a testament to the character and strength of the candidate. A close family friend went to BUD/S.
