So who's seeing DMB this summer? I just went to his concert in Hartford, CT and it was absolutely incredible. By far the best concert I have ever been to. And it only made it crazier that there was a big thunder storm for most of the concert that got everyone on the lawn soaking wet!
 
Zomg dude, so many kids from my school went there and got wasted, it was rediculous. I think 2-3 went to the hospital to get their stomachs pumped...morons. I didn't go but I heard it was a great time.
 
i went to the united center show in illinois, and got to see them with Bela Fleck, and im hitting up both alpine shows
 
i like dave matthews and all. i listen to his music. i just cant see how it would be a crazy show. enough to get wasted i mean. maybe a little dunk buzz and really high but not stomach pump drunk. plus 85 dollars for a lawn seat is ridiculous.
 
I was offered a ticked if I drove 2 hours to spac on saturday. My car might not make that but I've always wanted to see a concert. I haven't asked my parents yet either.
 
haha, i was at the saturday show with that rain, it was so intense when that huge lightning bolt struck during the beginning of the song, so siiick
 
i dont understand that in the first place. if im gonna spend a shitload to go see a concert, esp a concert as sick as dmb, why would i want to get so fucked up i wont remember it?
 
The 4 tickets we had lined up for hartford fell through...

for real though. dmb doesnt exactly scream MOSH!! GET FUCKED UP THROW SHIT AROUND AND BREAK STUFF. i just cant see it.
 
the thunderstorm in Hartford on Saturday night was insane, it really made the concert so much more fun. BUt the difference between having a seat and being on the lawn was like nigh and day. I had 2 indoor tickets as well as 6 lawn tickets so I just went inside for a little to see how it was and inside everyone was all dry, dressed nice, sitting down, sober, and enjoying it. But out on the lawn, everyone was soaking wet, extremely loud, dirty, and either smashed or high as shit. It was ridiculous, but after seeing that, id so much rather be soaking wet outside. It was so much fun.
Oh and there was a kid in front of me who had to be pulled away by security because he was so wasted and was laying down with his head on the railing, it was actually pretty funny.
 
ohhh and my tickets weren't $85, they were only about $50 for lawn seats so thats really not too bad to see my favorite band. I'd pay that to see dave any day
 
if your talking about tha hartford show last year where it was paoring yea it was fun casue every one was in teh same boat; soaking wet, but in all honesty the show sucked, he had no energy what so ever, he got on stage played his set and walked off even though it was like 4 hours he bearly communicated with the croud if any at all, i was somewhat disapointed
 
Ahhh I am supposed to be going to the show in Saratoga Springs today. They're new album, omg, TOO GOOD. Mike you should go to another one in July / August wiff me =]
 
went to the show in Toronto a couple days ago, soo good, he played a lot more of his new stuff then I was expecting, it was unbelievable. I was in up in the lawn absolutely shittered, it was just a giant field of drunk and stoned people just jamming, it was unreal.
 
I went to the saturday show in Hartford. Couldn't really tell you what songs he played, I tailgated from 1:30-7 and then walked over to the show. Had a great time though. Not the biggest DMB fan, but it was a great time.
 
it's not an "opinion"; it's a "fact".
and i'm correct. there's NOTHING good about DMB. they should have all died and done the world a favor.
 
i saw them last tuesday in toronto.
without a doubt the best concert ive been to, tim reynolds was playing with them and their new sax player is unbeleivable aswell.
im driving down to see them in syracuse in august too. so stoked.
 
Wow man, its one thing to state your opinion and express that you don't like a certain band, but saying they should go die is completely messed up. I have tickets to the Hershey show and am stoked
 
I was there both nights at spac. First night I was wasted and having a great time. Second night I drove and still have a fucking great time. I stayed at lee's and we had to dig trenches around our tents to keep the water out.
 
i wore the purple ns claimasaurus shirt friday night at spac and some random kid in the middle of the crowd like halfway through the show comes up and yells YEAHHHH NEWSCHOOLERS
