idk who went but im just throwing it out there.... possibly the best the band has played in.... everfirst night rocked but second night was unrea... debute of dive in just insaine set list and not to mention All Along the Watchtower and HALLOWEEN.... for any big DMB fan it was unreal
 
the only song i really like from Dave is All along the watch tower, its soooo good. everything else is like, i mean its good its just all the same
 
sounds pretty awesomeon a side note i'm surprised at how long its taking the major haters to show up, they popped into the last thread in about 2 minutes
 
Hey man you should check out Dave's acoustic stuff, I love it much more than DMB personally.

Check out Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City. It's one of the greatest albums I've ever heard... you won't be disappointed. Trust.

yea Dave and Tim at radio city is sick.... but even for the "haters" out there his show bring some crazy crouds even if you deont lkike the music its a perfect opertunity to go get fucked up and have a good time regardless of the music
 
dmb is the shit, favorite band

though i wouldn't say they're in their best form...leroi is gone RIP

their new stuff is OK, but i honestly think they have gone downhill since about 1998-2000. Everything since then isn't as raw and seems to sound very "noisy" If you listen to any concert from about 93-95 you're just blown away. Nowadays it just seems like they dont jam and mix their music like they used to.

either way I am sure to make it to alpine valley every year for a great show.
 
I def ageree that their early stuff is crazy.. personally i got a bunch of their early 90's concerts on my ipod.. but i was talking to some really hardcore fans and all insainely positive feedback on 6/13/09 at SPAC... i gotta say they were throwin some pretty sick jams together too Carter had a crazy drum solo with two step and a sick jam outtro after Jimmy Thing
 
is that sarcasm? i mean i know its not original because hendrix originally sang it. but i just love the song and his version
 
nice nice, ill have to check that show out once its available. i will have to say that last years "jamming" aspect was much better than years past, ill just always miss that sound from the early 90's
 
I was there. I was afraid every other guy was going to ask me to play some gamecube with them. Other than that, it was a great time.
 
i went to a dmb concert last friday. dave matthews sucks but the concert was awesome. it was in new york and crazy fights broke out because these drunk dudes thought we stole their beer. haha, my friend got punched in the side of the head and had to go to the hospital later because of a concussion. then some mma fighter guy starts knockin niggas out. it was awesome
 
I actually just saw them in concert 2 weeks ago in hartford ct. it was a great show. i went both night and they were eaqually as entertaining
 
My friend could be considered a DMB expert, but he does like some other stuff more.

He said this was the best show he has ever seen put on, and he goes to like 4-5 big concerts a year.
 
I was at fridays show tripping and it was So fucking good. what an aweosme weekend. Lee's Campground was the shit (even though it was a absolute swamp)
 
i was just about to say...im glad you enjoyed the bro fest. although i didnt partake in it, i DD'd for my friends
 
yea, dave, and his collection of equally uncomprehensively good musicians are preyy much awesome.
 
i was there saturday night. i made the 5 hour treck. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING!!!!! one of the best shows imo. only complaint i had was he shoulda played dont drink the water. woulda made my year. but when he pulled out watch tower and GRANNY!!!! holy shit i amost peed. and i did pee when carter played the best drum solo i have ever had the pleasure to listen to.

i liked how it was a good mix of old and new. that was really sweet. lie in our graves was the best i have ever heard them play

and it was pretty sad to last time a saw dave at spac it was the second to last of last show leroy ever played. but when they had the cant stop fallin in love with you it was def for him and def was a moment i will remember for a long time.

over all the best show i have ever been to
 
i was so trashed when i finally went to bed that i didn't even care about the water.

u see that mini van that was half sunk in the mud? it made me lol so hard
 
i went friday night and it was sick but i heard saturday was epic. my friend has seen dave play every spac show since '94 and said saturday was the best by far. i was supposed to go up too but decided not to last minute.. im really bummed.
 
I saw alot of cars stuck in mud. My friend got stuck twice. First time we pushed him out. Second time we sunk in to his axles and my friend pulled us out. We were so sick of walking through the mud my friend drove his truck back to the site sunday.
 
I got in 2nd night for $20....Really didn't think this year even compared to his past performances at spac. Gotta be honest, Ive seen him every year for 8 years at spac, and this was the weakest performance to date.
 
I've been to about 8ish of their shows and Saturday night was easily the most ridiculous concert i've ever had the pleasure to be at........anyway, did anybody stay at Adirondack Adventure campground?
 
Just downloaded the second day set and listened to All Along the Watchtower. Probably the sickest version I heard of that from all there other versions, even better than the one with Carlos Santana at Golden Gate
 
i liked last years better, then again situation was different for me last year, and he played my favorite song last year, grave digger
 
you obviously have no idea what you are talking about at all... that show is debatibly one of the best shows the Dave Matthews Band has played in the last couple years. typical situation, liog, and that was the best encore you could ever ever ask for. #40!! Granny with Watchtower into HALLOWEEN. you suck.
