Dave Matthews Band/Dave Matthews

i wasn't a dave fan at all until my cousin convinced me to go to a concert. his studio albums are pointless, but DMB is one of the greatest performance bands in history.
 
I Hate DMB. I can't stand his voice. and before you call me out, i've seen him live once, and watched a few DMB Live DVDs. I give all music a chance, DMB just sucks

oh, well I actually like the music and dislike the 'lets get high and not remember what we saw tonight' attitude, so I go to the concerts FOR the music, not for the party.
 
^ i didnt mean party like that. i dont smoke or drink. i just like the atmosphere and the fact that everybody in my school is at the concert.

i used to like them alot, up until, say, before these crowded streets. since then, i havent really followed their career. havent actually heard any of there more recent albums. but their old stuff is damn good. damn good i say.
 
this has nothing to do with the question... but i was listening to this song about a month ago and i think it was dmb. It had no lyrics to it it was just some crazy violin and all instrument playing. It was a really sick song and im having a hard time finding it. Not even sure if it is dmb but it was played on a ipod and was in the middle of a bunch of other dmb songs. never saw the name of it. if someone knows what im talking about thanks.

it's probably Lie in Our Graves off the Live at Gorge album......and if its not what you're talking about you will love it, i promise. it may also be #34.

and i absolutely love DMB, i really don't care how played out they are or how many douches pretend to like them or only go to the concerts for the party. loved them my entire life and will continue to.
 
i got to see him this summer at saratoga, and it was sick. not that ive been to that many concerts but the crowd was actually amazing.
 
it was kinda like a mix between tripping billies and lie in our graves, but there were no words. idk maybe it was a long song, i didnt listen to the one on the gorge, but i just downloaded a discography of their live shit so ill find it.

super dope live show. i saw him live for the first time last summer and DEFINITELY will again this summer. show was epic. crowd was not. if im gonna pay a shitload to go see a show, its not so i can get incredibly fucked up, its so i can hear good music.

and i will agree that a shitload of dmb fans are total douche nozzles, but thats not a reason to hate the band.
 
hahaha idk i just like that song. but actually take it off, replace it with The Last Stop. which i REALLY wanna see live
