Obligatory I remember my first dmb show post.

Good to see they capitalized on phish being dumb and snagged the 4th at spac. Hopefully nobody gets alcohol poisoning or hit by cars so they don't ruin the venue any more for other bands.

I might try to get pavs and go to another show sometime. I don't want to fuck around with the lawn scene. If it wasn't for the fans I'd probably see dmb once in a while.

Usually stayed in a hotel with a lot of people for the back to back shows in Hartford. Since there's only one Hartford show this year looks like we will be heading up to MA after CT.

Definitely doing the SPAC shows and super stoked to see there is one in Montreal so I'll probably head up to that.

I've been to many shows and was starting to get a little sick of the lawn at these venues but then I realized I don't really give a shit. I'll go and do my thing and let everyone else do theirs.

I've been to two shows at Alpine Valley and another in Milwaukee.

I've always listened to people hype of DMB concerts so I finally went to one last summer and I was not impressed. I'm not sure if it's because of the located or what but it was a ton of old people just kinda chillin and listening to music. It wasn't a bad concert but I wouldn't say it was great. If you are going to try to have a good time this is not for you but if you want to chill and listen to good music then it's good.

I'll be at spac on the fourth, staying at Lee's campground even though its a shit show every year. Last year people were burning everything/anything they could, chopping down trees, and I remember security walking around looking for a man with a machete, good times.

Well phish didn't grab it up this year so why the hell not. And it will. Usually sells pretty well if not sold out. Will probably sell out the 2 night run easy. Then again maybe that was 10 years ago Not sure how dave is selling these days but thinking decent at least. There were still tickets when I got to montage mountain last year but I got stuck in the bullshit traffic jam and missed moe. open. Was too pissed to spend $50 just for dmb on the lawn. I kicked it next to the venue, and listened for a while though.

Lees sucks. So much hype for that place but it's so shitty. Just another cash grab. They make bank off that and put nothing back in. PLace is a shithole, over packed, the shuttle looks like people on their way to a refugee camp.

I went finally last year for phish. Spent $100 on a wristband. Left the second night.Came back in the morning and grabbed my stuff, gave my wristband to some poor kid out front by stewarts and didn't go back.

I could tell you about a way better spot where you don't need to drive or shuttle but it sounds like you like wasting your money at lees.

If you were leaving spac and and driveing out of the vip/handicapped lot like you're going to cross route 50(the bridge lot) take a left. Aka go south on route 50. Pass the traffic light that has the campground entrance. about half a mile from the venue you'll see a street sign that says leonard street. It might mention parking or camping on a sign somewhere. Go down there you'll probably see people right when you turn in to tell you where to park. If not drive down the road and you'll find somebody.

Basically, it's not lees, it's walking distance(which is half the battle), there's camping, music)not sure for dmb but probably) and it's the same price or cheaper. You can camp in the woods there it's pretty damn nice. Not flooded and sketchy. I camped there the last 2 years for phish as well as stopping by for some of the other stuff they did. Good people there.

I don't think phish is playing spac this year and I might be out of the country anyway I probably won't make it there, but if they were Ill probably be there. If I'm around I'll probably go for dave even if i dont go in

gorge is in washington. I'm from MN so AV has always been the Dave show to go to but I'll be living further out west this summer

I was at Phish last year too! It was my first show. Definitely an experience finding out about and walking through shakedown street for the first time, met a lot of cool people too. But word thanks for the heads up on that other place itll come in handy in the future

Glad you had fun. Phish gets rowdy but people can handle their shit and a lot of good people. Definitely check that place out.

Like I said cool people there running it. Would go back all the time if I was around and there was more stuff going on there.

Don't bring douchey people there though if you can help it lol. Actually for dave who knows.

They had a HUGE bonfire for phish and music post show till 5 or 6 am each night. Good vibes. A hell of a party but you could kick it in the woods and get your mellow on as well. Going to keep getting bigger.

Old people probably = mid 20's. And it being bad and nobody having a good time meant that people were puking on each other and unconscious on the lawn 3 hours before showtime.

Sounds like the way to go. My first beer dmb isn't my scene at all.
