Dating someone that doesn't SKI

Of the chicks I've dated, this is my first one that DOES ski. Then again I live in Arizona.
 
ya, they just had to learn to deal.. the worst was when one wanted me to teach her... no way in hell I was wasting a few days of skiing to teach her. I took her once and it was the worst day of my life, the park was perfect, soft, and bluebird.
 
yeah I tried to teach a girl to ski... in the park haha i would just have her ski down the sides, like next to the rope for the park, completely out of the way, and then I would just ski the park and like meet up with her and give her tips and crap. but yeah, she gave me head like a week later, and i never saw her again. neat.
 
a few skiers and a few snowboarders...but pretty much everyone does one or the other in VT, so I'm not afflicted and there is no way I could have a serious relationship w/ someone who didnt ski, unless they had some winter passion and understood mine so that we could coexist...kinda like the bunnies
 
i dated a skiblader.

wait no i didnt, just screwing with you guys. i havent dated any girls who do ski yet. theres this really hott girl that lives down my street, she snowboards but im going to convert her to skiing.
 
i dated a non skier. she was like "i dont get it, you go down the hill then you sit on a chair and it takes you up the hill. then you do it again and again. to me there is no difference between that and a hamster running on its wheel." we broke up shorty after that sentence was spoken.

i kicked him out of my house for that

then we broke up a few weeks later.
 
my gf wanted me to teach her, but I told her tickets were 80 bucks, and that changed her mind
 
It's fucking terrible, what made it it even worse for me was they hated basically everything I loved and they were kind of the epitome of everything I hated...except she was hot and not intelligent, hooray!

We broke up very quickly.
 
yeah its a long distance relationship to begin with. he feels like he's being cheated on or something. also today's conversation led to him saying i ski so much it's almost like i'm a crack whore. like it's an addiction or something. I was said it's a little more than that but you're kinda almost getting it.
 
my ex was like "why do you ski every weekend?" so I asked "what did you do last weekend?"

her-"went shopping, and went to a movie"

me- "see? that's really boring, I would rather ski"

we broke up a day later
 
i deffinately agree, you wanna go ski and they think you are abandoning them for nothing... so moral is, date a skier!

or someone who is really understanding
 
it blows teaching girls who dont know how to ski to ski...i tried...it sucked..i wasted my time..so now im waiting for one that does or what that is super hot
 
That just wouldn't work. If my girlfriend isn't going up to the hill with me, she is up there before me. She usually drags me up on the days when the skiing is shittttttty when I wouldn't have gone otherwise.
 
doesnt work. i went out with this kid for 2 years. afther 2 winters he made me pick. litearlly sat me down one friday night before i left for sking and said " pick one. me or skiing" obvi you know my ansswer. he just didnt wanna hear it about me going skiing all the time. he thought i was a lesbian or something by skiing. idkk . it doesnt work. my bf now snowboards and it works so much better
 
yeah that's pretty much where i'm at. it also sucks when i land a new trick or ski a sick pow day and i'm all stoked and try to explain it. all i get is this half attempt at listening mixed with a "what the fuck are you talking about" look. not to mention i ski with guys (no i havent cheated and would never). shit this isn't looking good.
 
haha i know EXACTLY what you mean. date someone who you can ride with and can be there for you when you land someting youve been trying and be like "ohhh!!ya girll!!!! ". thats the best. not having to go home and try to explain it all .
 
Its dumb for girls but alright for guys, just tell him you want to ski on the weekdnds so to hang out with you on the week days
 
my friend renbuck tried once but it didn't work. they went skiing and this bitch rents a snowboard in order to learn. so she get stuck on the mountain and its freezing so she falls over and says "I'm cold" so renbuck at first tries to help her but gets bored and says "me too" and skis off. he comes back to check if the bitch is still there like an hour later and she's still sitting in the exact same spot freezing. He rides up and asks "are you cold?" as if he's real concerned and she says "yes very!" so he starts laughin and yells "me too!" and skis off. he never talked to that bitch again after that.
 
my gf doesn't ski, she's just scared I'll get buried in an avalanche. She understands that I ski therefore I am never around. She could probably watch ski vids and stuff with me and that would be super cool if she could talk about skiing more with me, but all I do it ski ski ski, and talk about skiiing, so its actually kinda a good break. I find as long as the girl has a good hobby than they are just as interesting.
