In the same boat, however she did lie to me the first time we met and told me she was 20.

I had a one night stand with a chick when I was 17 doing this same thing.

Dude pretty sure you answered your own question. You like her and think she's cool and mature. Fuck what society tells you is normal.

I would say yes just by how she looks and everything else is a bonus.

However, the ones thing that is going to suck is that she can't go out to the bars (if that's yo thang). My roommate is pretty much in the same situation and when everyone goes out he normally can't. Not that it's that big of a deal because bars normally suck, especially if you already have a girl then they're even more pointless.

18 and 23 isn't the same as 23 and 28. Seriously. You're in two completely different stages of your lives. I changed drastically over the 8 years I was together with my ex, and we started at 17. Save yourself the aggrevation. She's beautiful, yes, and I'm sure she seems great now, but things will change. She's 18.

Wouldn't you say that dating someone like your ex opened your eyes to what you desire in a partner and what you would want to avoid in a future one?

You don't always date someone because you think you will marry them, you date them because you like them and want that connection. Who is to say when or if it dissipates?

This. accept the fact that you are both very young and chances are highly unlikely that you will get married. Do what makes you both happy and take it day by day, maybe you do end up marrying, either way you have fun.

That's totally fair. I agree.

Hey that's what's up! I'm in the same boat as you haha but a little older.

I'd say go for it man. Just be prepared for some immaturity and childish bullshit. After all, you have experienced a lot more than most college freshmen straight out of high school.

As in that's what's up I was a Marine too, not that's what's up I'm dating an 18 year old lol

OP..MY G....get up in that young stuff. Only people going to be judging you are people who wish they were diving in head first, let it rip bub.

I'm dating a chick in her early 20's and her age gets to me every now and then, just a maturity thing. I'm thinking about finances and savings and budgeting and financial security, and she's thinking about the next vacation with $0 to her name.

I'll get over it.

I'm in a similar situation, I'm 19 (sophomore in college) and just started dating a 21 year old (senior). It's not so much about the age for me its about the fact that the girl is graduating but I decided to go for it and date her because there were just good vibes and we have a lot of fun together. I'm just going with it and if the age becomes an issue I'll just cross that bridge when I get there.

elaborate?

What I mean by her "age shows" from the maturity level is that she doesnt know what she wants in life, and I do. Ive had experiences, both bad and good, from past relationships, people, life events etc. She said she wanted to be with me, now she's saying she doesnt know. Its a perpetual cycle of "i dont know what i want" and im just over here chillin waiting for ski season to show up.

Sounds about right. My advice after waiting for someone who was the same way, move on because it doesn't end well even if you end up together. That perpetual cycle won't end at her age.

1. Im 22 and my girlfriends 26. weve been dating for over 3 years. shit can work out.

2. That chicks a smokeshow definitely pursue.

3. Thanks for delivering pics.

4. RAH! to my fellow marine NS'ers

Actually she probably wont. Money and finance on a personal level is extremely difficult habit to change. You are on the right track. She is not.

become her friend and get some intel.

if she's into the kardashians or teen mom bail out.

probably 95% of girls under mid 20's don't know what the fuck the want and get bored of guys quick. You're 23.. do the damn thing and live it up before you're married with kids and turn into a fanny pack dad driving an astro van

Don't hate, my parents had an green Astro van when I was like 6. Loved that car

Get her before she gets fat. You can tell by that belly she relies only on her metabolism to keep thin which will go to shit once she hits puberty. Trust me on this.
