Hey what's up NSers?! Here's the deal, I go to school, I'm 23 and I met a girl in class that's 18. Super pretty, good vibes and pretty mature. Well we're starting to get into each other and she tells me that myself being older isn't a problem, but I feel like I should find girls more of my age. Honestly, I haven't met any cool girls Like her at my age; It should be the opposite. What do you guys think? Go thru with it, try things out? Is it considered out of my territory and therefore, kinda weird?

You both are in college, she is 18 and if she's mature to you then go for it. Legally everything is kosher, if you two are catching each others vibes, then go for it.
 
After you turn 18, age is just a number. I wouldn't worry about it if you're enjoying spending time together.

My girlfriend is 4 years younger than me and sometime I feel like she's older. We've been together for almost 4 years now - age is just a number my friend.

Yeah that's what this girl was saying to me to convince me more. Her Parenhave a 10 year age gap. In the end, if the vibes are there, and she has an education, it doesn't hurt to try.

She's down to learn to ski this season as well. Compared to some others out there that would say "no", I'd say she's a winner so far.

Heads up, I did something similar this past year, 18 and 22. Be prepared for immaturity in certain situations, regardless of what she saws. Most 18 year olds have not had to make difficult decisions or anything of the like.

But go for it.
 
But for real OP go for it. she may be the one. I know people who are married and have a way bigger age gap. as e heath said, as long as you're both at least 18 it doesn't matter at all.

Currently doing the opposite. Girl is 22 and I'm 18. It can be a lot of fun man. After 18 age doesn't matter too much and it's college so just have fun. I'd say at least try it man. You won't know how it'll turn out unless you try.

This is what I came to say.

First, I'll agree with everyone here who says after 18, age is just a number. Absolutely true.

On the other hand, after I turned 21 (26 now) I could never date anyone under 21, simply because you going out with your friends and her not being able to go will cause drama.

Just my input, just go for it, what do you have to lose?
 
Where I'm from, this is a small age gap. I know ladies who are dating guys 10+ years older than them. It only works though because here everyone stops aging mentally at like 23 so theres just a bunch of 30 year olds running around with the maturity level of a college kid. It's strange but thats what happens when you live in Neverland.

the whole not being able to go to a bar/drink gets super old depending on your and your friends habits. And I will definitely echo the sentiment expressed of be prepared to deal with the occasional immaturity. Not that most people can't be immature from time to time, but when someone hasn't spent much time living outside of the comforts of their parents house/high school friend group the most unexpected things can get screwy.
 
yeah nothing wrong with that. the only thing that might suck is that she can't go to bars with you, unless she has a fake or whatever. but if there are mutual feelings go for it

You echoed what I was thinking. The only thing I like to do is get social beers, but she can't. I don't do that as often now I'm in Michigan. In California it would be different. Therefore, it doesn't matter. Thanks for you wise input. Much appreciated.

its a 50/50 chance that it works out. shes fresh out of high school and hasn't had the same life experiences that you have. you pretty much know how things work and she has to figure it all out. But maybe that will work out for you two.
