Dating ages

thanks, i didn't realize that. im actually just trying to get some clarification on what the saying means?
 
i don't know a single girl my age that matured before me. they were all pretty stupid for a while. and when i was 18 i def would have had a problem dating 16 year olds. didn't seem right to me. but i guess if i knew a 16 year old girl that acted way m,ature for her age i might have considered it. i usually just go for girls my age, a year younger or a year older.
 
dating someone younger is not wrong, age is just a number. I dated a girl younger then me for 2 years, and she was probably more mature then I am
 
Some chick at my school last year (in grade 9) dated a fifth grader. So an elementary school kid with a high school girl. Currently in my grade, every hot girl is dating either a grade 12 or someone in college. I'm in grade ten now.
 
IMO its ok... sometimes even preferred... for a guy to date an older girl. but its always a little creepy for a guy to date a girl that is any amount younger than him.
 
its soooo wierd for me to date younger, i hate it. girls mature faster than guys so an older guy with a younger girl normally match up nicely
 
check the age of consent in your state. thats all that matters.
RAPE is a sexist crime, by saying that i mean: a girl cannot rape a guy, but a guy can rape a girl. Therefore if a guy dates and older girl, and they have sex, and she is older than the age of consent and he is younger, the worst that happens is she can be charged with certain sexual charges, not Rape. If a guy has sex with a younger girl, he can be charged with statutory rape.
Say your age of consent in your state is 17, and you are 18 and the girl is 16, and you have sex with you, she can file charges. However, depending on state laws, there are ways around this. For example, in New York, the age of consent is 17, but if a 17 year old and a 16 year old have sex, that is allowed. The law states no penalty for this, its almost like a loophole.
Why do I know this? I'm the son of an attorney. I've also been in this situation.
 
biggest difference for me was... i was 15 and a freshman and he was 18 and a senior. it wasnt that weird for us. it was weirder for me when i was 17 and dated a 16 yr old.
 
In my high school we had the plus two minus two rule.

Freshmen with seniors prohibited basically. Only one kid broke that rule, and now he's in college talking to 8th graders. Please don't follow him.
 
midde school- shouldnt even date they all think they're in love and it lasts 2 weeks

higschool- 2 year rule for anybody in highschool

College/later years- fuck it
