so i am taking a girl on a first date this weekend coming up

what do you guys think is a good spo to take her too

i want to have fun or just chill and maybe say save some money

i was thinking a movie or something but i dont know

ladies what impresses you when a guy takes you out

Dinner and a movie is too typical these days, you gotta do something different. Agreed on the fun and chill part. Movies for a first date puts a lot of pressure on both of you....sitting together in a dark room...do you make a move? Does she? Should you share the arm rest? For most guys too many things run through their mind during a movie...

opt for something you can do together. putt putt golf is fun, laser tag, go karts, etc....girls like it when they can interact with you instead of just sitting there.
 
Don't always let her win, not all girls like that. If she always wins its not fun, make it a challenge. Make a bet, say if she scores on you then idk...you'll get her ice cream, and if you score on her, no ice cream. Stuff like that.

Oh, and don't over do the compliments, girls like cheesy stuff but only to a certain extent.
 
movie + first date = awkward. do something interactive like everyone else said. then end it with something chill/relaxing. a coffee shop with an open mic night usually does it for me. if whoever is singing is good, you can enjoy the music together. if not, you can make fun of him/her together. or disregard it completely and play board games which (for me at least) usually leads to interesting conversation.

I actually like board games, stuff like Life, chess, sorry and others are fun because you have to think about it. When I'm focused on winning I'm already having fun because i'm competing. A lil side bet is a sweet incentive too.
 
Ok this one has been fool proof for me. Pull the old switcheroo. Go to the movie first, then the dinner. It gives you at least one thing to talk about with her during the dinner. And try and make it all tied in. If your seeing an italian movie, get italian food afterwards. Shit like that. Works like a charm. Just do whatever your doing before the dinner. Its a fool proof convo starter.
 
deff dont go to a movie.. just like the girl up there said- it puts all this pressure on the both of you that is un needed. dates are the best when they are relaxing and fun!! thats what you want. you want to be able to talk to the girl as well. so go do something fun and in the outdoors or like mini gold something like that where you can be flirty and goof off. if you wanna get food go to a really relaxing enviorment that is fun!
 
Yeaaaaaa listen to the women folk. They have a bit more cred and experience on what they like over a male such as myself.
 
besides, most movies out right now fucking blow.

for my first one we went to the snake river and got lucky that a mutual friend owned a boat so we went wakeboarding. there was four of us so it wasnt awkward... two couples. afterwards we went to dinner and then just went for a nice long walk.
 
if u kno anyone that has lake access ur set. we have this 12ft wide tube thing that has chairs in it and holds 8 ppl, its pretty ballin in the summer
 
the funny thing is that even when i go to like a mini golf place, i suck and dont even have to let her win, she does anyway haha
 
i have sadly lost at mini golf a few times not on purpose. i've also been dating a girl for 3 years so of course she'll never let me live it down.

if anyone has any cool idea for stuff to do thats fun that you think we havent done let me know. i'm always looking for fun stuff we havent done before to spice stuff up. and we've pretty much done everything.
 
im sure you're much to young for this but go out to a club and chill? treat her as a good friend dont be sweet or whatever..... once the alcohol gets flowin you'll know if she likes you or not pretty quick.

and i dont mean fuckin crunk stickin your hand up her passed out skirt.... just socially buzzin'
 
bowling is tits. it's a ton of fun and it's a place where you can both actually interact. def better than a movie.
