it would make sense, im not saying he's a bad skier, but for being one of there big riders he's neither competing or putting out and parts in movies, he needs to promote the company thats the whole point of a sponsorship

i understand the logic but it doesn't make sense for dash. Why wouldn't they drop skogen who is old and doesn't kill it anymore.(yaya i know about the knee injury). i think dash has a lot of respect in the ski industry because of his style and choice of tricks...in my opinion, he is the future of skiing:slow style spins, unat everything, perfect a trick before moving to a bigger rotation and of course, switch landings in pow. so if this is true, i don't really understand...all i really hope is that he keeps skiing and approching it the same way he does now, he is dope! plus he is really young.

^True, but if you look at the guys who don't compete, they put together solid video parts and do a shitload of promo work for their sponsors. A sponsored rider's first job is to sell product. If Dash Longe can't do that, he'll be dropped.

weezable I can't believe you just said skogen doesn't kill it anymore. His part this year was so sweet. He is currently filming a segment for tgr's film next year which I garuntee will be so tight. Just cause he's not killin it as a park rat doesn't mean he's not still good. He's steppin things up this year and doing some next level big mountain stuff. Just wait you'll see.

look as long as dash creates and maintains a style and image, there will be people who want to be like him. hes in magazines all the time, that does it, he nails his mad steeze in his segments, besides the kid is fucking young, this is the beginning for him - well as long as he's motivated.

skierdave, you need to realize that guys like seth, mcconkey, mike D, and others don't compete anymore is because they've put in their dues in comps and are a household name. because of this they are able to sell product merely through print ads and video segments. someone like dash who hasn't been around for awhile needs more than just a video seg to sell product.

dash is gonna have a breakout year, he's been rollin with tanner and cr and that whole crew, those guys will make him better. he's already got mad style and unnatty down, soon he'll be throwin it with tight ass tricks like mickeal.

dash is underrated, no one thinks hes doing anything sick because he makes it looks so easy he can throw 540 every single way , and they all look like its his natural side, dash has a ton of potential and concentrates more on style than hucking
