darksides don't have much back tip. get something a bit parkier than that. if you can carve good, then the other skis can carve good, but just because you can ski backwards doesn't mean that a ski with no rear tail can ski backwards.

its all about dimensions. dont get the darksides. the old ones were sweet, but the new ones are for groomers. the best carving park ski i can think of is old 720. but thats got no tip either, and is foam. the TMs carve beautifully, but arent balanced or built well for rails. the Pe is probably your best bet. nice sidecut, good width, and a proven preformer. the only thing that sucks about them is that everyone and their mom and thier grandma have um.

no, those are freeride skis. if your looking for a freeride ski with a twin tip, theyd be good, but if you want a real twin tip, they arent the way to go. i wouldnt recomend it, cause there are plenty of twin tips that can rip any mountain apart and still kill it in the parks. the Atomic teaks and stomps are great everywhere, and so are head madtrix (without the binding)

yea but can the assassins survive in the park? Or are they pretty much garbage out of the back country? And does anyone know anythin about volant machete's? My impression is that they're a tub of crap but you can't judge a book by lookin at the cover

Atomic Tweaks. They're really stiff and hold a good edge. But yeah, Darksides are just made for carving and every once inawhile hitting some kickers in the park (but not doing tricks off of them or anything...).
