Dark Knight

I got home at 3am this morning from it. It was amazing. I was wide awake the whole time but not on the edge of my seat, it was late. Personally, if the movie was called "Joker" I think it would fit better. Sen. Pat Lahey's in it which is pretty dope.
 
this movie was one of the better things to happen to my life. christian bale and heath ledger are two sick fuckin actors.
 
at the end of the movie commishener gordan's son said to his dad that batman didnt do anything wrong and he was the good guy. Im pretty sure his son will become robin cause his dads a cop and he knows batman is good.

robin is a circus performer. his family was killed by two-face and Bruce Wayne adopted him.

Batgirl is Commissioner Gordon's daughter.

but i fucking hope Robin doesn't show up, Batman is way better without him.
 
personally i dont want there to be any more. this one was phenomenal and the ending was perfect i think, s to just push it farther and have the third not come out as good would dissapoint millions
 
heath ledger was so incredibly disturbing in this movie. so well written too. words cannot describe...............go see it in the biggest loudest theater you can find.
 
Yeah Christian Bale already said if they bring in Robin he would quit the serise so hopefully we wont have to worry about robin coming into the next movie
 
i went to see it in i max and the 6:45 was sold out. so was every show (they started every 25 mins) untill 12:00. so i didnt get to see it. it sucked.
 
I don't know if anyone posted this or not, and i'm not trying to be an asshole or be morbid. Apparently 3 out of the 4 Jokers in the batman movies has died, and one is in a mental institution from playing the part, because it was so fucked up. Actually i don't know if this is true, it's just what my sister told me. Thought it was interesting.

I can't wait to see this, it looks so fucking sick.
 
i wikipedia-ed this to find out, and there have only been 3 batman movies featuring the joker, and sure two/thirds of them have died, but the guy who was in the first movie was the guy who was in the TV show and died at age 86. sure, heath ledger died afterwards, but the original guy died of old age and jack nicholson is still alive
 
honestly that is the BEST movie i have ever seen. hands down. a couple movies maybe have come close. ive never seen anyone in recent movies get so into a roll like heath ledger did. with all the rumors going around about how he killed himself because of him playing that i would beilive it.

but everything was good about it. the plot was amazing. the acting was brilliant. the music fit the movie so well and was very very good too. i cant think of anything they could have done better.
 
It really was an amazing movie. Heath was great. its sad that he wont be able to make more movies like this. Everyone should go see it.
 
i got to see it on weds night because my friend works for a theater and he had to work the opening so there was a special showing for employees and friends
 
actually no, there were three robins. Four if you want to get technical but Stephanie Brown doesnt count in my book

the first Robin was a trapeze artist who's parents got killed when a mobster messed with their equipment. Adopted by Bruce and later became Nightwing

Second one was again a performer but this time instead of a mobster it was Killer Croc. Adopted by Bruce, he later got killed by the Joker

Third one was just a fan of batman and wanted to become his sidekick. He still has comics going on.

I was a huge batman fanboy and read a shit ton of comics
 
it was engrossing.

the storyline, filming,acting

it was all flawless

i got crazy into it

but i still managed to notice (and wish for) every urban rail in gotham city.

there was a PERFECT on right after batman throws twoface out the window....

 
The Riddler is my guess as the next villian. it would make perfect sense, imo at least. who do you guys think will be next?
 
one of my favorite movies of all time. ending could have been better though, not quite as climatic as I would have liked. Still, the rest of the movie made up for it. Ledger was the best
 
ledger was great and all but the movie itself wasnt that great to me. if i m the only one who thinks this i must be crazy or i should go see it again.
 
it is easily the best movie ive ever seen

right now it has a 9.7 and is #1 on imdb, beating the godfather by quite a bit.

i think that two face is still alive. the whole idea that batman does not kill people would fit it perfectly. also, we never see a coffin at harvey's memorial/funeral. futhermore, it was shown earlier in the movie that when batman dropped maroni from the same height it does not kill. what do you guys think?
 
^yeah, i think you might be right, but then again you might not. it was really hard to tell whether or not he died, because they left the details out.
 
i think it might be that they left it to be interpreted by viewers or it may be that they leave it possible for him to be alive in case they want to bring him back if the nolan brothers write another batman film
 
guaranteed they'll make another one, but it makes it all the more sad to know that heath ledger is dead after his brilliant performance, nobody is ever going to live up to ledgers joker again.
 
its true that heath's performance CANNOT be matched. it was the greatest work ive ever seen. and where did you hear that theyll make another one?
 
adding robin will be the END of this series. It would be a horrible idea.

I think, for even thinking about the idea of robin being in the next movie, that you should get up from your chair right now and run full speed into the closest wall u can find. Like run as fast as you fucking can, if you wanna drop your head and run head first that would work too.

The only character that would even be able to come close to continuing this series would be the riddler, maybe with J Depp playing him. I can't think of anyone else crazy enough to 1 up ledgers performance. I am not even sure anyone would be able to bring justice to bringing the dark knight back for a third movie.

I am glad they decided to work the story into 1 movie after ledgers death. He was signed on for the third and the story extended with him in it, they toyed with the idea of continuing with two face, but it looks like that is not going to happen now.

I would not be upset if they just ended it there, if anyone is going to continue it, Nolan better be at the helm because he will do it justice.

AND OMFG are you serious with your fucking posts, chip and dales robin, DUMBEST SHIT EVER pls pls pls hurt yourself badly in some way.
 
originally they had it slated that he would be one of a few villans in the third movie. I can't find any info about it now though, which would lead me to believe that they are done with this series, or that they are keeping it very quite while nolan creates his next masterpiece.
 
i just returned from watching that... and i cant say anything besides the fact that... it truely could not let you down, and it is everything it is said to be and more... best movie ever.
 
I could def see johnny depp playing the riddler, that could be pretty sweet if they did it right, have some crazy plot twists and riddles/mind games. the dark knight was downright nasty though, if they made another one I would never expect it to top it
 
before and after, orignally ledger was on for 2 movies, then when he dies two face was going to be one of the villans slated to come back. It still could play out that way, but I am not sure what their plans are now.

And I have been following this series ever since there where rumors of the first movie on the net, so any and every source, on top of knowing a few people in the industry close to this series.
