Oh my god. This has to be one of the best movies I have ever seen PERIOD. I went last night to the 12:01am showing and it was completely worth it. Anybody who hasn't seen it needs to see it soon!! Oh and Heath Ledger went out with a bang. He KILLED it as the joker, and it was one of the best performances I have ever seen. Heath Ledger is going to win an Oscar, even though he is dead. However, after finishing the film, he should have just made his acceptance speech right off the bat because that shit was friggin amazing.

From people's reactions I have no doubt in my mind that it's outrageously epic, easily the best movie of the year and probably the best in several... but best ever? A LOT of movies have been made...

Yo I saw it at 12:10 last night, and it was SO awesome. Every scene that the joker is in it grabs your attention and never lets go. Pretty much A-MA-ZING!!

I just watched it...it was gr8!

im not gunna lie i hate watching movies in the theater...i get antsy and want toleave....but this movie was ausome....the joker was so creepy he made me want to crawl out of my skin

It was so good i'm going to see it again tomorrow, and pick up all the things I didn't get the first time...

Damnnn it was good, ledger killed it, all the actors slayed, it had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what the fuck was going on.

one of the best movies ive ever seen, heath ledger was incredible throughout the entire movie but especially during the scene where him and batman were talking in the police cell i was like damn it really sucks this guy had to die.

yeeeahhh didn't live up to all the hype but still was a fucking awesome movie, it's more of a one-time watch movie for me it was really deep and dark. something you have to take time to appreciate.

favorite character of all time=joker

greatest entrance "Do you guys want to see a magic trick?...im going to make this pencil disappear.

after seeing it it makes me soo mad that ledger died cuz it'd be sick to se him in another batman. like i always ket waiting to see him come in to a scene just cuz he was a fuckin badass.

omg it was soo good...did ne one stay for after the credits, just wondering if anyrhing happened cause i didnt

so sick, heath ledger was really good and will deffinately win best supporting actor, im trying not to give anything away if you havent seen it but i really didnt like all the two face nonsense, i though it was unnecesary and i didnt like how he looked

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the new Health Ledger (see 'Brick')

All actors up their game by skills developed shooting dramas where they play sexually deviant characters. For Heath Ledger this would be 'Brokeback Mountain,' for Christian Bale this would be 'The Machinist'

Also if you like Christian Bale, the Matrix, Orwellian themes, and/or indy films, see 'Equilibrium'

this movie is incredible... i saw it last night for the first time, and was totally blown away. they were all so good... especially ledger as the joker. he had the whole theatre laughing a few times- the hospital scene being one of them

i hven't actually legit spent money to go see a movie in a theatre since im pretty sure it was eurotrip.. and that was what, 2003?

i have gone and paid to see this movie TWICE already. just fuckin unreal. un fuckin believeable

dude he is ill and all i know is that movie got so slept on! its so nasty when they use "GUN-FU" to duel wield pistols at strategic angles to kill mad fools. and the opening scene.... so hot. better than OG matrix opening scene, in my opinion.

I guess i'm the only one that thought it was just so-so.

As an action movie goes, it hit the formula for the most part. Ridiculous explosions, exciting chase scenes etc, but I thought the fight sequences were unimaginative and very choppy.

Ledger was amazing, but I thought Bale was only at his best at Bruce Wayne- His voice as Batman really bothered me. Again, Ledger was amazing and will no doubt go down as the quintessential Joker for future generations.

I dont care either way about Superhero movies in general, so I think my opinion is pretty unbiased because I wasn't pumped about seeing Batman as a continuance of the series, but for the film itself.

Overall-- a good popcorn action flick, but nothing special in my opinion. Effects were sometimes awesome, sometimes cheesy. Bale slightly disappointed, but regardless is completely overshadowed by Ledger. A worthwhile flick, but not my favorite movie this year.

the other actors were sorta overlooked. They all did very good but the joker got all the attention. Aaron Eckhart deff got my vote for second best actor of the film.

Batman was forcing his voice so people wouldnt figure out he was Bruce Wayne.

overall a good movie made great by ledgers performance

ive seen it twice and im giving myself a week or so to think clearly, because right now i feel like it is on par easily with scarface and pulp fiction. im not sure if its as good as i think though. fucking incredible. heath ledger deserves an oscar. and he will get one, at least one.

haha, it's way better than scarface, that's not even that hard to do, i mean scarface is pretty good but i can think of 3 mob movies off the top of my head that are way better, 4 if you want to split up the godfather 1 & 2.

i love how like everyone worships scarface...scarface isnt that good of a movie people! its just a cult movie with crazy violence and shitty acting. seriously like anyone who thinks scarface is like a masterpiece needs to watch some more movies

i spent a good bit of time writing this and this is just IMHO

With

$155 million this weekend, and first on IMDB with scores of 10 it was hard to

find anyone that had anything negative to say about the movie. If you look back

at the earlier reviews though there is a good page and a half of people

trashing the movie, and while I agree with some of their points I have written

this to try to give the least unbiased perspective, from neither a batman nerd,

and dark batman movie hater, to express a movie that will I am sure be remember

as a great one for many, many years.

So the circumstances surrounding this

movie with Heath Ledgers death provoked a lot of extra hype around this

movie, especially around joker’s performance, so I tried to go into the movie

with as little bias, and believing that it was no more than hype. Even as

leaving the theater I told my brother I would have to sleep on it and let it

sink in so I could properly critique it in the morning.

I believe that it

was well written and thus causing the acting to be decent. Some of the story

was a bit iffy to me, for example I would have liked to have heard more about

the jokers background as it provoked at lot of interest to see what were the

things in his life to drive him to such antics. You have to have a dark sense

of humour to enjoy some of his antics (hospital scene). Some of the plot didn’t

make perfect sense either to me. For instance when batman decided to save

Harvey Dent rather than his ex Rachael, when they were running from the building

about to blow up I would have thought they would have been sprinting for their

lives but it didn’t seem like that, batman didn’t even try protect him really

or anything, they barely if jump away, and thus causing Harvey to become two

face.

As for time, I must be honest and say a

few times I did wonder how long it would continue only that because of the

intense scene where I was amazed at how much longer it could continue, although

Heath performance was great and yes he will win at least one Oscar, I would

have liked to see more appreciation for Dent (two face). His acting was great

as well. As for Christian as batman his acting wasn’t superb I didn’t see

anything from him that really surprised me but overall the action kept me in my

seat through the full 2 hrs and 30 mins (roughly) and will definitely be a

movie to live on in its epicness

As for Heath Ledger, to go out on a

role, well its not really possible to go out on a role bigger than this, as it

doesn’t get any bigger, seeing him in the last few scenes you had to think to

yourself would this be the last scene he would ever be filmed in? To say the

least you cant get any bigger than his last role really and ill admit he played

his character very well, and I’m sure he’ll always be a legend.

I'd like to close by saying, out of 10 i would give this movie 9,

not a 10, because although this is a very special movie, and will live

on as an epic one by most, the movie had to have been perfect, and

perfect it was not.

ENJOY!

After seeing the movie 3 times i have finally figured this part out. Batman wanted to go save Rachel as he expressed running out of the prison cell when he said "ill get Rachel" and Lieutenant Gordan said "ill get Dent". The joker however knew that he needed dent to live so he switched the addresses on batman. He told batman that Rachel was at the address that Dent was actually at. The joker knew that batman would try and save Rachel. When batman showed up at the address he expected to find Rachel but in fact Dent was actually there. As for the fact that batman didnt try to protect him i just assumed that he was in shock that he was saving Dent not Rachel and wasnt thinking correctly. hope that helps

that does make sense

but I had a different theory at first

I thought it was because Batman wanted Dent to stay the hero of the city and wanted to but yours makes much more sense haha

wonderful opinion. that fucking bitch ass slut is fucking beat dawg, fuck that shit fo real. Fucking trick ass beat ass hoe.......

Really??? It was blatanly stated in the movie, that batman thought he was going to save Rachel. I was drunk throught the whole thing and picked up on everything. Like the first time Dent took out the coin and flipped it, I knew exactly what was going on.
