Yeah so basically I'm having my english final tomorrow, most of it is on Dante's Inferno, Canto 1,3,5, and 34. I was just wondering if anyone can help me out with understanding the allegorical meanings and other stuff. Thanks!

Is your teacher retarded, or just seriously ill-informed? Do you even know who Virgil is, and what is referenced by him? Does your teacher teach you the historical nuance of the philosophers and politicians mentioned in the book? Or how about geological references of the cities and names of the circles of hell? Shit. Entire classes could be taught on that book, and your teacher wants you to sum up the allegorical meaning of it in a final. Whatta douche.
