i dont know if you know this, but the great wall of china isn't really that wide, and in some places is about 10 feet tall...with the ramps and everything its really not as impressive as it sounds.

It is pretty big but I'm sure he's jumped bigger before. But if the takeoff is pretty low then it's going to take a lot of balls to hit it without seeing the landing properly. A guy died trying it on a bike a few years ago, so it's pretty impressive hitting it on a skateboard.

You hav to think outside the box on this one. We all know he's done bigger, but you have to keep in mind that he jumping over an ancient wall, which is pretty sweet.

heres some info on it

The jump is planned for the amazing Ju Yu Gong Gate part of the Wall about 20 miles outside of Beijing. This is one of THE most important cultural sites in China (an AMAZING location) and Danny is honoured and excited to have been given this opportunity to bring skateboarding to the biggest nation in the world in such a dramatic fashion.

With a chance of three world records attainable (distance, height out of the quarter pipe and speed) Danny is going to build a structure around 120 feet high, with a rollin of 75 feet and a 30 feet high and 100 feet wide quarter pipe. This is likely to be the largest skate structure built to date.

i really dont understand why he just doesnt snowboard... what he doesnt really count as skateboarding, he could go 10x bigger and still get hooked up by DC for snowboarding and be able to throw more insane shit.

is he going to drop into a quarter pipe and then off a ramp? What about the rollin? The quarter pipe thing isnt making much sense.

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:

NO NO NO, he uses the roll in, the hits the giant booter, lands(hopefully) and then goes into the quarter pipe. its the same set up idea as in the DC video.

Ive been following this for a while... Danny and DC went to china and met with the Chinese Minister of Extreme Sports(yes they have one, same idea as like the US secretary of agriculture) and he got permission and is now just gonna GIVE'ER!

D-Way is by far the best Skateboarder as of Jumping. THe china gap is like a hundred feet! I know not that many people can do that on a snowboard or ski. who saw the kickflip to back board on the rainbow rail. Shit is crazy.
