such a bummer, danny davis's run in mammoth last week was unbelievable. he was the best hope for beating shaun white. good luck to him and kevin pearce.
 
Shitty news to hear. Once I saw Davis beat the flying douchemato, I was having hope of seeing someone in the number 1 spot. Well, shit I'm going to go ahead and say that curly red headed fuck is some how behind these injuries.

Yeah, and contrary to the belief of people on here who've obviously never met him, he's actually a pretty good kid.

That's a huge bummer about Danny. I was looking forward to seeing him compete. Vibes to him and of course Kevin. We're all pulling for you man.

No shit. I'm not a fan of Shaun White but I'll be backing him for the Olympics. I just find these injuries a huge bummer in that there may be no american sweeping of the podium for snowboard halfpipe in this years olympics
 
for all of you talking about dont judge someone you have never met i have met white 3 different times, once at a party in mammoth where he got punched in the nose for being a dick to everyone there acting like the house was his, second in pc just riding and talking to him he was still a dick, and once again in mammoth riding still being a dick, dont get me wrong he is a great snowboarder who has accomplished so much but by what iv seen he is a dick.
 
he's a celebrity. if you tried talking to ANY celeb whos out trying to have fun, i doubt they'd take the time out of their very little personal time they got already to chat it up with a rando. his life is way different than yours and it may be hard to grasp but he cannot be nice to every single person that approach him. time and place for everything and he's just a regular person like anyone else.
 
Obviously Shawn White's people took them out since they were the only ones that could beat him!

yea but you have to understand i was just saying hows your day going, both times and the first time he told me to be quiet than the second time i said hey do you remember me i met you at pc and mammoth a couple of times and he just looked at me laughed than never said anything else, and allso i dont care if you are a celeb or not you dont go into someone elses house during a party and be a dick to everyone and act like its your house that why he got punched and kicked out.
 
you've never been a dick at a party? i know so many people who have been because... its a party. who gives a shit. it isn't some PR opportunity, its to have fun and not care. everyone has that moment where they cross a line, shit happens. and do you honestly think you're one of a handful of people that have gone up to him and asked if he remembers you cause you saw him a few times? not being a dick here, but if i got that question frequently everyday, there might be a few people id blow off without a real response and not think twice about.
 
well i do understand that but i am never a dick at parties especially if its one at someone elses house, but yea that does make sence with him remembering me but he just could have said aww naw man i dont, so what iv seen of him so far and what my friends who have rode with him before all i have heard is that he is a dick to most people so for know im going to stick with what i know.
 
i know SEVERAL people who have met him. and its a unanimous consensus hes a massive douchenozzle. most times i would attribute it to a random kid who didnt like him. but ive heard from MULTIPLE people that hes an ass
