There have been many worse bonds. Although unconventional, he's actually one of my more liked bonds, although I will admit its a different character.

You think? I'd argue he's #2 after Connery. You can't tell me you think Pierce Brosnan made a good Bond. The whole 007 franchise was super awkward during the Brosnan days and he didn't help. When the Cold War ended it left the Bond series lost and scrambling for a new direction - if they had of cast someone a little younger, rougher, with little fucks to give for the old ways... something that Daniel Craig pulls off in a great way.

If you think Daniel Craig is the worst James Bond you are a fucking moron. You probably have only seen Brosnan bonds and maybe one or two classic Connerys. You are right he isnt as good as Connery, but he is far from the worst. How could he suck more than the bell bottom wearing bitch that was Rodger Moor?! And Timothy Dalto? Really? He looked like the background actor in a perfume commercial. Do yourself a favor and watch something other than goldeneye ya jackass then you can appreciate the full spectrum that is James Bond.

This. Undoubtedly one of my favorite movie series. I've recently rewatched some of the old ones and dammit they're just so fun to watch.

Don't quite look like any of the Julbos I have seen (which tend to have plastic rather than leather for the nose block) but man do they strike the perfect balance between old school and modern glacier glasses. I'd seriously consider picking up a pair for spring and summer adventures.

I'd argue that Daniel Craig may be a better bond than Moore, but no way are his movies more fun to watch. That's the one thing I don't like as much about Craig movies, there isn't the same fun. I'll give you later Moore movies absolutly sucked. Moonraker, Octopussy? Horrible. But Man with the Golden Gun and Live & Let Die? So much fun. How about JW Pepper for god sake. Do you expect to see something like the boat chase in this movie? That's one of my favorite bond scenes just because of how much fun it is.

I really like the more serious turn that Daniel Craig's Bond took. Every Bond film I've rewatched after Casino Royale seems almost painfully campy and cheeseball in comparison. The insane suspension of disbelief required in a lot of those older Bond scenes ruins some fun for me. Hell, even a lot of Skyfall was that way. Craig's James Bond without absurd gadgets, scenarios and ridiculous supervillains is just more human and relate-able.

Now I want to go watch Casino Royale.
 
Watching Craig play the persona of Bond is like watching paint dry. He's got about as much charisma as a toad. Ian Flemming would be tossing his cookies watching Craig snarf up Bond -- James Bond. What a sad state to think that he's considered good, nee - adequate at the part. Makes me wish I was Helen Keller after seeing him in the role.

YMMV, don't try this at home, pro driver close course, objects in mirror, contents have settled, and may cause anal leakage.
 
So, I came up with a new plot for a Bond film that goes well with the oldschool way of things. I realize that posting it here isn't going to do shit to make it happen _ but it's a start.

Spectre takes over the large hydron collider at CERN and holds the world ransom or else they create a black hole that destroys the world.

simple, yet efficient.

At least the end of skyfall somewhat pointed towards the franchise going back to actually being james bond movies again, casino royale and even worse quantum of solace were both good movies but shitty james bond movies! no gadgets, no Q, and my heart broke in casino royale with a single sentence:

Bond "dry martini"

Bartender "shaken or stirred?"

Bond "I don't give a damn!"(been a while since I watched it can't paraphrase 100%)

have hated Daniel Craig since that one scene
