Dangerous Strike

Our local municipal workers have gone on strike and they happend to do so around a period of decent snowfall. Last night we got around a foot of snow and the roads for the most part aren't plowed (unless they're highway) and incredibly slippery. I've had school of for two days in a row (which i'm not complaining about) but my question is; shouldn't these guys get in shit for doing something like this when we need plows and sanders more than ever? I know that we need garbage collection when they go on strike but we can live without it, this is just plain dangerous to the public. It's like ambulances not responding to minor injuries like broken bones and concussions and only responding to major incidents. I think some people are feeling left out to dry around here.

maybe you shoud listen to why they are striking, and see if a compromise can be made so the problem can be solved

O I know all about that, it still doesn't justify the problem with not having sanders and plows on backroads when a good majority of citizens in my county live on them...
