Dane Cook

i despise dane cook so much. he laughs so much at his own jokes when hes performing and its never funny. the only thing that ever gave me a chuckle was he said "theres like this demon that comes out of the cleaning supplies. its like a ghost. all of a sudden it pops out and says "AHHH I AM WINDEXTOR!!!!" that probably wasnt it. but it was windextor. and it was mildly funny. but thats it
 
i liked him when i was littler but now i find he relies too much on his tone and his jokes aren't that funny
 
Kind of funny, but extremely overrated. Kind of like the Blue Collar people. They are worse though because they just feed off the same jokes all the time. If we're talking about good comedians, then I think Ralphie May, or Dave Chapelle are the best, but some would probably say Dave Chapelle is overrated too.
 
Vicuous circle was funny, and so was some other earlier stuff. I think he's a little over rated now, people get mad at me for not agreeing that he's the funniest comedian who ever walked God's green earth.
 
I think hes pretty funny, but not nearly as funny as some people out there. I did get quite the chuckle out of war flute, but i think he relies on swearing and sex to much for his jokes because the general public will always laugh at that.
 
The guy was pretty damn funny. But know he mostly tells immature sex jokes. I laughed so hard at harmful if swollowed though.
 
he was funny the first time i heard his jokes. but he never comes up with any new material, i think i first heard him in grade 8 and now i'm finishing high school and he's still talking about the kool-aid man and watching people get hit by cars.
 
used to be funny but so played and just straight lame now.... and he steals jokes haha demetri martin is where its at
 
I like how he essentially plays the same character in every single movie he is in. It's like he's trying to make some profound statement at how mundane and self-depreciating the american film industry is. That, or he just shouldn't be allowed in any kind of media....ever.
 
jim breuer is probably one of the funniest comics.... i will have to say that i have heard one funny joke that dane cook has said and thats the one about the pear and grenade.... but hes kinda an acuired taste i guess

in no way does he have any skill, plus hes a complete asshole, i would love to punch him in the face. he plain out annoys me. and i dont have respect for people who put dane cook on their mp3 players.

yeah i watched some of his stuff on youtube a while ago and he takes really long to get to the point and recycles allhis material. but the koolaid thing is still fucking funny
 
No Dane Cook is extremly funny and has a really good delivery and timing but his material sucks. If he could just write better material he would definatly be one of the best comedians out there.

Dane Cook is pretty played out and kind of annoying now but he still makes me laugh fucking hard. He plays The Laugh Factory in LA all the time too which is cool because you can see him in a little ass club for like $20.

he's got his shpeel, sure it's over the top and not extremely clever alot of the time but it works and he makes it entertaining. people need to stop hating on him.

and no, he's probably not even in my top 5 favorite comedians, but he doesn't deserve the hate he gets. ...not like he should care anyway.

I feel like that was a little ridiculous, sure it was the same topic on each joke, but they were total completely different. Comedies are going to talk about the same shit eventually, is is only so much stuff to joke about.
 
I don't get all the shit about stealing jokes. I watch a shit load of stand up, and I have seen many people tell jokes from other comics before. Who knows if its coincidence of really stealing. It happens a lot in stand up, but people make it seem like he is the only one. It is just because he's quite popular, and some hate him so they looks for things to hate on.

Personally, I don't have a problem with him. But I don't feel like he stands out. He's just another pretty good comic.
 
actually listen to his 'jokes' though, in all seriousness how the hell is someone yelling "shit on coats" over and over again a joke in any way. Thats the kind of quality i would expect from the dumb kid in the back of the class in grade 6.
 
Haha that eddie murphy thing was hilarious, +karma. But Dane Cook was funny at first. His Madison Square Garden one was horrible though
 
he used to be funny. demetri martin truly makes me want to kill myself tho. it makes me wonder what the shit fuck comedy central was thinking when they gave him his own very unfunny show

demetri martin is great on stand up, his jokes are very simple and to the point...that show of his has a few good moments but it hasn't really made me laugh out loud...the only reason i watch it is because it immediately follows the new south park
 
dane cook is very funny. demitri martin is a polar opposite. mitch headberg was mediocre at best. now would the "obama, demetri martin/mitch hedberg, dane cook sucks, pot head, failure, dissappointment to your parents" bandwagon please pull over because youre all faggots
