i was gonna make a dane cook thread. he is so fucking funny i laughed the entire way through his cd. everything was funny. he's a genious
 
are you serious? that's going to be so funny. he's definitely the shit. retaliation is the biggest comedy album since one of steve martin's in the 70s, and he's from MA, go new england yeaaah.

im not gonna lie, i made a Dane Cook thread a while back and i think there were a few others before mine...yes very funny.
 
I think he's pretty funny, but I hate how everyone goes around quoting him all the time. It gets old. I can't even go to a party here on campus without 20 people running around "someone shit on the coats". Like it seriously ruins it after a while. Everyone did the same thing with dave chappelle before he went insane too. Like it makes it not funny anymore. Way to ruin it.

i dont mean to be an elitist dick or anything, dane cook is hilarious, i just think that he's a bit overrated, harmful if swallowed was hilarious, but i wasn't as impressed with retaliation, it was a lot of the same stuff, he is really funny though

people care too much about what is mainstream. i saw his shit on comedy central presents dane cook years back and i heard harmful if swallowed back when it was released. retaliation came out and all my friends had heard it somewhere and i still thought it was hilarious. i hear his shit over and over and its still just purely funny. who cares if he finally blew up and people are buying his cd. great thats what his goal as a comedian is. hes been a comedian for 15 years im glad he finally caught his big break.
 
I can Recite the Harmful if Sswallowed album off by heart. He is hilarios.

he's good at making stuff up as he goes to like he'll ask the people in the audience stuff and then make jokes about it for 3 minutes.

which cd do u want to hear? I can probably only do one cd per show, but i guess i could make more than one show.
 
do you think he just fell onto mtv or something? have you ever heard him talk about his life? do you know how hard he worked to get where he is? pretty damn hard. he is a funny funny guy, and people embrace funny nowadays. and he deserves to be fucking mainstream. it's not like he just woke up one morning and decided to be funny. he worked his whole life to get where he is and he worked in comedy bars and clubs for a long time. not like he just fell into their studio or something
 
I'm not trying to be an ass or anything.. but I think he is a horrbile comedian, his material is just random and brutal. But that's what I just think and we are all different.
