Dane Cook is the Dave Matthews Band of comedy

Hey, I always say that everyone is entitled to there opinion, except when they disagree that dave matthews makes music better than god....

...but hey, i have been to 4 DMB shows in one week
 
You tube has an interesting comparison between Dane Cook and Louis CK. It shows how Dane is a joke thief. Check it out, just type in Dane Cook joke thief into the you tube searchbar. As for dmb, I wouldn't say they are unoriginal. I was alive when they came on the scene. Back then they were pretty fresh. I have not listened to them in years so I don't really have a current opinion.
 
in all honesty, if you think his music is boring you need to go to a concert. i don't know why he wastes money recording things in the studio....his studio music, i'll admit, is borderline mediocre.

you don't realize how talented everyone in dmb is until you go to a concert. carter beauford (spelling) is worth the ticket price alone....without a doubt one of the greatest drummers of all time.

and yes, i love smoking pot.
 
There are three types of people on this earth. The first type is people who hate and dispise Dave Matthews Band. What I say to that is, to each it's own. The second type is someone who listens to DMB, has a few studio cds, maybee goes to one concert a year just to get trashed. What I say to that is, to each it's own. I'm a member of the cult like third group of people. The third group of people are fans on the same level as Deadheads, or die-hard Phish fans. I post on Antsmarching.org, and a ton of other fan sites. I'm a member of the Warehouse, the "offical" DMB fan club (40$ gets you super legit tickets pretty much). I have three thousand DMB songs; every studio album ever released and recorded (I have one that was un-released that was leaked onto the internet) every live release, every live trax, every warehouse bonus disc, every band member's solo work, every DVD, and one neat thing about DMB is that they allow fans to audio-record every show for free, so I have a couple hundred shows, some dating back to 9. Hardcore DMB fans, or the second type of people on this earth will never ever be able to "convert" the people who hate DMB ever. I'm not going to even try, I don't care if you don't like Dave Matthews Band, I don't care how much you hate carter beauford, I don't care if you think the lyrics are unoriginal, etc. Go ahead, Stero-type me as a bro, or a frat. What I do care about is how much I hate Dane Cook, and the white-trash kids at my school who quote him non-stop...
 
they are both alright and very moderate (if that makes sense) so they are very popular. Look at south park, its the funniest show ever but the simpsons is popular because it is less extreme in its views, style, language, etc.
 
It'ts neat because all band members write the stuff, not just Dave. They do some sweet covers though, All Along the Watchtower is a sick renditon.
 
there is a time and place for every kind of music in my life.

i've been to a dmb concert here in washington. they were really good live. but, it just sounds like a lot of other things ive heard from pearl jam and other bands that i don't particularly like. but even if i don't like the band there are a few songs that they might do that i love. just not enough to support them as a fan should to a band he/she is into.
