i was listening to some hip-hop with my dad in the car, sort of like trying to show him that there is good hip-hop/rap out there and that he should keep a more open mind to it and that there are some pretty songs messages in these songs.
then i thought 'i wonder what he would think about immortalT, because of his messages and all'
i know that my dad is fairly politcally minded and i know that immortalT applies a lot of political messages in his music, so i thought it would be sort of funny to see what my dad thought of him, so i played one of his more political songs 'the 4th branch' and i asked my dad after what he thought and he said, 'he is well read, but he sounds like a typical black person, where its everyone elses fault except theirs' HAHAHAAAAAAA, while it is hard for a black person to live in white america, i do understand the greater meaning of what he said.
as for me, i can only take immortalT in doses. it gets banal after awhile. same shit over and over again.

so true, i don't think Immortal Technique is skilled at all. His "Political" raps actually don't say anything at all, they just state well-known facts about how 3rd world countries are poor, and he blames the US for raping them, which is 1/2 bullshit. KRS-One is way more political. If Immortal Technique hates america so much, he should jsut leave.
He does have a few good non-political songs though. Dance with the devil has a good beat and all. And Industrial Revolution is alright too.
