Damnit wikipedia...

When you search at the homepage pick a language other than english. Then put the URL in google translate. This worked for me.

before the page has the chance to fully load press the stop loading "x" in your browser and you will be able to read and access all of the information. you will have to do this every time it is loading a wiki page though. but you won't have to translate or anything

I have never had a teacher let me use wikipedia for a source before...

They always claim that everyone has the ability to change the information so everyone is not a reliable source. My teachers always require a scholarly source.

This. From Wikipedia:

Is it still possible to access Wikipedia in any way?

Yes. During the blackout, Wikipedia is accessible on mobile devices and smart phones. You can also view Wikipedia normally by disabling JavaScript in your browser, as explained on this Technical FAQ page. Our purpose here isn't to make it completely impossible for people to read Wikipedia, and it's okay for you to circumvent the blackout. We just want to make sure you see our message.

content settings ->

java script ->

manage exceptions ->

type in en.wikipedia.org and set to block

all done!!

damn some people just gotta hate.... see if i care. its just so much easier for reference and to put stuff in context to just type each thing into the wikipedia search bar, then get all of this organized info. of course i could use google. wikipedia is just easier.
