so im pretty pissed right now, today at school some kids i know came up to me and asked if they could borrow my longboard for the period, i say sure cause im a nice guy..i tell them to go into my garage at my house and take it and put it back when they are done...no big deal i say you break it you buy it. they get back as i am leaving school and i ask if they put it back they say no i have to get it from this kids trunk, i walk all the way to the lower lot to get it and the other end of the school to get the kids keys, then back to give them back...pissin me off, wasted like 20 minutes of time i could have spent doing something fun...like longboarding, i get home and look at the base of my board...fucking trucks are wayyyy loosened up and there are 2 nuts missing! may not seem like a big deal but that means i cant ride until i get new ones, which means i cant ride tommorow with a bunch of friends which i had planned on doing, which also will be the alst day before snow. so im pretty annoyed right now...yeah. oh and also, one kid had the nerve to go "your board concaves the wrong way, its shit" i didnt really know what to say to that because my board has no concave at all so i was like..."uhh yeah its a carving board not a cruiser....it makes it easier to carve..." and he just walked away with his shit ass sector 9, ignorance!
 
I know you were trying to sound angry and ask for our understanding but all i heard was

bla bla bla......rant rant rant..... they lost some of my hardwear and lossened my trucks, two things that are easly fixed.....bla bla bla

if only 2 are missing change it so that each truck has 3 screw/bolts and there nice and tight, you can still easly ride with 3 on each

 
dude, it seriously bugs me when people have no respect for others property. i let some freinds (let them remain nameless!!) and i let them ride it for a bit in a parking lot. one tries an ollie, i say dont do that, i would rather not let it get all scratched up. they keep doing it, and laughing every time.

then at a rail jam i take my board, and they want to ride it again, this time in ski boots, i know it wouldnt really mess it up, i would just perfer if they didnt, still, a kid takes it and rides it with his ski boots on. if you guys are reading this, i dont mess up your shit, dont mess up mine.

is it really that big of a deal that i want the stuff that i earned to stay in good condition?
 
You need to man up and fucking tell them to stop being dicks. Obviously they arent your friends. You are getting used.
 
my $225 flexdex got stolen on saturday, cant even explain what im gunna do if i find the person who took it

word, and guys im not trying to make it a big deal but the thing is it seems to me like they probably took them for their own or something when i was just doing them a favor. they arent really my friends just kids i know enough i guess. i just dont get when it got to be cool to disrespect peoples shit, everytime im at a party lately some kid thinks hes the fucking man cause hes pouring beer on the floor, smoking inside or stealing booze from the parents liquer cabinet. its just fucking stupid, i dunno. wouldnt you guys be annoyed a little if your saturdays and fridays plans got fucked up cause some kids cant be respectful of your shit?
 
Hey man, this is where you have to callem on it. Ask them were the hell your hardware is? You cant really call them out on cosmetic damage because thats the name of the game, but shit, you better be able to ride the damn board when they give it back to you or they at least better have some explanation for you on why you cant. If they are cool they will hook you up. If they suck, karma will get them. If karma doesn't get them, steal a couple of lug nuts off their car. Nuts for nuts, now grow some.
 
yo. this dude knows whats up. except for the stealing, stealing is bad karma for you :P. but seriously, just ask them what happened to your hardware, if they're cool they'll give it back or offer replacements, if not, just don't let them borrow you're board again. on a more positive note, at least it was just hardware, hardware is not expensive, and hardware is always a good thing to have lying around. just buy a tool, and some extra hardware, get some washers and wheel nuts while you're at it! you'll appreciate it later if you continue boarding.
 
so i asked one kid, haha by the y im not a pussy or anything its just not a huge deal...

but yeah i was like "hey thanks for bringing my board back minus two nuts"

and he was like "ohhh those are yours??? we found them in the road..."

"k give them to me? so i dont have to go get new ones..."

"theyre at my house"

"k get them to me soon i cant ride without them"

i just dont get how two nuts "fall off" and then they find them both in the road taht they are riding on? its a long ass road and there are mad leaves right now...just sounds doubtful to me but whatever, ijust want em back i guess.
