You can still get tomatoes but I think they have to be a certain kind. The ones on the vine I believe are still ok and cherry tomatoes are good too. But yeah I hear ya. I ordered a sub yesterday and no tomatoes were on it and it changed the entire dyanmic of my sandwich. I was not pleased

Trust me man, you DO NOT want salmonella. It was BY FAR the worst week of my life when I got it. God it was terrible. It's worth it not eating the big red juicy tomatoes for a couple of weeks.
