yesterday it was all hot and stuff but today is argh! windy , like erally windy, adn it looks like there goign to be a tornado, but we dont get tornadoes in ottawa so just rain, but i wanted to sk8, damn

dont ask why i called the weather argh!

yeah, damn weather. Got sooooo much snow in the mountains (10-20inches) just when the good resorts were closing in Colorado.

 
We got like 8 inches if snow saturday night and sunday, but now its almost 70 and melted it all. This Sucks!!!

 
2 days ago it was 90 degrees F. Then yesterday it plummeted to 30 F. Now it's 50. What the hell?

 
hey it did that all the way here in london ontario too...cept it was 28 degrees CELCIUS then 9 degrees CELCIUS...

celcius sucks. it sounds like... ...some stupid thing. farenheight is where it's at. (i can't spell either)

Fahrenheit does not make sense. It is based on the number 8 with 32 degrees being freezing (4x8)!??!. There are both positive and negative temperatures at which water will freeze with fahrenheit which is not logical.

Celcius, on the other hand, is based on units of 10 and freezing is at 0 degrees and boiling at 100. This scale is much easier to comprehend and freezing temperatures are always negative. Celcius can also be directly converted to Kalvin by adding 273, which is usefull because chemists and physicists only use Kalvin.

My celcius will kick your Fahrenheit's butt any day!

 
ya Christophe but you are American for now so you are stuck with our useless system. I don't see why we don't just take up metrics like the rest of the world. It is sad that something like 75% of Americans can't use a simple system of measurement that is necessary for communication with the rest of the world. Look at simple things like communication on this board. The Canadians say it snowed 30cm or was 20 degrees Celsius and most of us Americans are clueless. Why can't we just teach metrics in school and get rid of this damn American system.

i agree...the old rule for an approximation of changing celcius to fahrenheit is to double the number celcius and add 32...whatever! too complicated!

15 celcius=30+32=62 fahrenheit

think of it this way: if god wanted us to use metric, he would have had 10 deciples. i know you were talking about celcius... just a little change of subject.

I'm not really sure what i believe in. I go to a catholic school, so i guess I should belive in God. But I haven't really seen anything that would lead me to belive in God. The bible just seems too far-fetched. Don't hate me, I'm just unsure.

I don't think you should beleive anything because someone tells you to or because you 'should'. If you see no justification for beleiving something, than you probably shouldn't.

 
Damn, yesterday the high was 92, today it is 38 and snowing! is the ski season ever going to end in Colorado?

yea ten80 this is crazy. Yesterday at my house it was 88, today 36 and rain/snow mix. Now they are saying winter storm warning and 8-10 inches of snow tonight into tomorow.

 
i believe in god... the all powerful god of snow. i make sacrifises of eating carrots (i swear, it works). Ohh and why the hell did the far far east in canada get so much snow?! there all complaning about how much snow they got. if it snowed like 10 feet or whatever it did there, but here, 90% of my town would be out skiing.

 
This is the strangest weather ever, especially for Colorado. It started raining tuesday night, and there's been rain, sleet, and snow since then. The last 3 days, it's snowed 4 or 5 inches each night, then it rains or sleets during the day and washes the snow away. It's saturday night and I haven't seen the sun since tuesday afternoon, and it literally has not stopped raining or snowing the entire time. There hasn't even been a small break, just precipitation the whole time. It's like 38 degres everyday and I just keep thinking if it were 5 degrees cooler and it was all snow instead of some snow some rain, that would be so cool!!!
