Damn boarder broke my pole

So I was skiing this weekend and my friend and I were at powderhorn this weekend and I was going though this woods run, and ahead of me was this patch of ice and rock, so I slow down and all of a sudden I hear "oh shit dude" and this boarder hits me with his arms wide open, he must have been riding way to close behind me because it was an instant after I slowed down. he pretty much tackles me, and my ski popped off, as he is laying on the ground, he picks up my pole and says is this yours, and i dont realize its broken, and I help him up and he gets out of there really fast, I pick up my new pole, just this year, and its bent so hard that the aluminum already broke, and breaks in half as soon as I apply the smallest pressure. There goes my salomon foil pole, just got it this season.

I realize I just took up a ton of space, but im pissed, at the boarder for riding my ass, at the pole for breaking, and that he got away before I realized he broke it. You dont think that that would count under warraty do you? I liked those poles, so if anybody has a single salomon foil pole by any offchance, tell me.

ahahahahah dejavoo that happened to me last year

thats why i just stole a pair from my mountains rental shop

still got em too

but idunno if tehy warranty em i know my friend had this k2 pole that had a life time warranty that he broke and he get another set but idunno bout foil poles

Exact same thing happened to me last year. In a tree run, I tell my friend to wait til im clear before he goes. I stop before a sketch area and BAM out of no where the fucker hits me and breaks my pole. Needless to say we are no longer friends

first day of new poles last year...BAM metal edge hits the pole almost snaps it in half and then it breaks going down the run just by planting it lightly to the ground.

I've gone through 3 pairs of poles since then...

so the same thing as you pretty much.

I ride with boarders and skiiers together all of the time, but this guy wasnt with me and had no business in a tree run, and he had no control, im glad I wasnt using poles like my dads poles that I had to use that afternoon (cuz mine were broken), cuz I actually landed on top of my pole in my torso area around my kidneys, and if they were my dads old poles, those fuckers woulda broken me, not me breaking them

just use one pole and after you used it pass it to your other hand and use it there, if you do it alot u may get good at

go one pole steeze!

stealing poles is so played, its all about having a selection of payed for, stolen, and 80's style.

Just buy a nice pair of carbon fiber poles, for like 30$ and never have to buy a pair again. I got K2 6 speeds for 30$ and I've never broken/dented/scratched them ever. They bend hella, but never brake. Its super sick.

Thats when you take the other one, and break it over his head. Now you have your balance back, and you let him know that hes gotta stay on runs where he can control himself, and that hes gonna not try to butfuck skiers goin down the hill. Not cause hes a snowboarder, but because hes a faggot.

oh man I hate it when shit like that happens.

Last season I was riding up with some angry punk ass little kid who wouldn't stop whining about skiers in the park, when I get into the park and im coming up to a small drop the kid cuts me off, im pissed at this point so I take him out with a pole "accidentally", he lands on it and bends it so it looks like a slalom pole so I bitch at him and blame everything on him, he looked like he was gonna cry so I skied off.

well my pole brokee when a retarder boarder pegged mt in the air, nice tabe going for a 3 then wammy. i go down he slices to pole in two pieces...heheh i use parents old poles, ever bought one in my life!

Some 40-something retard broke my pole in the lift line because he was pushing to get into the gate first. He didn't even apologize.

I figured he wasn't Swiss because Swiss generally have manners and class. So at the top of the lift I stop him in front of his wife and children and I ask "sprechen sie deutsch?" nope "do you speak english" nope "hablas español?" nope "spreekt u nederlands" nope "vous parlez français?" bingo it was a French prick. Then I proceeded in perfect French (I studied in Brussels for 6 years) to tell him what a rude pig he was for breaking my pole without apologizing and I asked who was going to pay for this. He said he was being pushed from behind and didnt have control over his skis. I told him that's his problem, he should learn how to ski. I told him this isn't France where you can pig out in the lift line, in Switzerland you gotta have some manners. I repeated "who's gonna pay for my pole???" Highly embarrassed he said "I'm sorry" and skied off.

But it fucking rocks to own old people.

hah thats funny, a damn boerder has found one of the broken poles from each of the last 3 seasons... hes got a collection going.

hehe.. my friend drove into a newb skiier on the slope and had to pay him face to face cuz he did the same trick... on skii's btw;)

if you paid enough for a pair of poles that you complain whe one is broken, well you just paid to much for poles they break all the time. go to a gerage sale and find your self 5 or 10 poles for like $5 and be happy.

i know, thats what I was talking about, those things are solid as rocks, and thats why I said I'm glad I wasnt using them, it woulda hurt like a bitch to land on top of those, they are like long versions of a cops nightstick
