40 rack focus shots in a 2 minute movie is amateur..some looked really nice however, just WAY overused

^ fully agree about the focus shifts
I thought it was gorgeous, like fucking awesome. really cool idea to do macro shots of gear, and allow the damage done to kind of tell a story on its own.
when all you are using is macro shots i can see how focus pulls can seem like the only dynamicism available but explore and look for new ways to bring movement to your shots.
