As far as other "riders having his bag of tricks"...who cares? That's such a jocky mentality. It makes me think of those kids I see riding at my local mt. who under any circumstances declare "more" better...as in, a blind 4 out is always better than blind 2.
I hate that mentality.
This is the same sort of outlook that leads to kids hating on Brogz. It's not about what tricks you can do, but rather how you do them. Yeah, on paper and trick for trick there are plenty of kids standing atop of Freeway who can do more tricks than Brogan or Dale...but verrrrrry few of those same kids are "better" or make them look half as good.
It's instances like this that remind me how divergent people's views on skiing can be. I suppose that's good to an extent as it breeds diversity (or should), but damn...I struggle to relate to the point where I sometimes feel I'm into a totally different sport.
Skiing is almost entirely a subjective sport...it's not baseball wherein no matter how you look at it, the guy who hits .327 is just plain indisputably better/more valuable than the guy hitting .281. For me, I don't understand watching this edit and thinking anything other than, "shit, he's fucking good. Really good." But, I guess other people think "Meh...he didn't spin rightside, or do many switch tricks, plus, he didn't dub, etc, etc." I guess that view is valid, but fuck, I don't get it hahaha.
