I would say he has one of the best styles. He doesnt really afterbang more of a heavy head. But its not forced and looks cool and he rides his tricks away like no other.
 
people giving opinions that are incorrect. therefore making them not opinions making them false statements good work. I know dale personally, i went to school with him last year, and he isnt sketchy and he isnt gonna die every time he hits a jump i have so much confidence in dale

it appears ive touched a nerve. just because you have a man crush on dale, or ride (stalk) with him everyday, does not entitle him to win a major competition. just because we have drastically different opinions does not mean "i dont know shit".

*sighs* about 1/4 of those tricks were not stomped. sure they were good, but not stomped. check the double cork and rightside 9. i know that those are both difficult tricks but they are just a little sketch.

if you read as well as you are witty we wouldnt be having this conversation. never have i ever said dale sucks. he slays it, no denying that. style, everyone has their preferences except for me apparently. i have to hop on the dale band wagon. and "hustler hauser" please. the kid is 13 years old, white, and from VT. he can throw a rodeo. congrats bro, really, Mee-Hyun is your age and can do 2x the tricks you can and kills it on rails. shes asian, and i ride with her, but you dont see me making hype threads all over town about it, and if i did, well, forget it.
 
you referred to Dhane as a "kid", even though you are just a kid as well and odds are he is much older than you. calling him a kid was a bit odd
 
Good critics are impartial, know a great deal about a broad range of what they are judging, and can cogently defend their decisions. This means that everyone that has so far posted, including me, aren't good critics of "style."

That said, fuck yeah for Talkington. The improvement in his skiing since The Motherland is totally unreal, and I'd love to see him head to King of Style.

For all those that say Dale doesn't have style I got two words for ya. FUCK YOU. Dale has seriously some of the freshest style our there. Kid fucking murders and totally deserves to win.

Ok people. Take a deep breath, lets all chill and take this thread back down to discussion level, not flame off status.
While I agree whole-heartedly that Dale is undoubtedly one of the faces who is going to be leading the charge in the coming years for the park segment of this sport, I don't think this edit truly showcased his ability to ride consistently with style. There are definitely some tricks in there that are buttery smooth and that late double is the sickest shit around, but the overall impression that I got from the edit was not "damn, that was the flowiest, in control and creative style i have ever seen". I would compare his style to someone like Matt Walker, who does some ballsy, creative stuff, but doesn't totally look in control of every aspect of what he is doing.

Have you ever considered the fact that opinions can also be hateful? Dale's the illest out and Hauser's right... you dont know what the fuck your talking about. So far you've called Dale's style whack, said you fear for his life when he skis, and inferred that Hauser rides dale's "stalk" every day. Real cool, thats really mature. Stop hating and go do something productive.
