Dale Talkington KOS

no. kos is for the best style. his double rodeo had little style in it IMO, along with some of his other tricks. i'd much rather see slow corks with tweaked tech grabs and smooth landings win. but style is opinion i guess.
 
he has some of the cleanest landings, grabs longer than most, has right side game, multiple dubs, and a natural swagger that kids could only wish for.

Who has better style in your own opinion? Especially from someone as little known as Dale.

Clayton and Dales are the illest so far.
 
He also spins and flips faster than anyone. So sick.

And I fully agree...Dale and Clayton are by far the best so far, crazy good.

 
just about as smooth as they come, sick tweaked high mutes, ill shifties, i would agree with your logic except for the fact that everything u mentioned you would like to see, he did better than ive seen anyone do so far.
 
Blake nyman and Eric Pollard IMO

but after saying that dale is fucking unreal, I remember seeing him in Look it Up and thinking he was going to be huge.
 
haha uh what? You are talking apples and oranges. Neither Pollard nor Nyman can do half the tricks in that edit, let alone make them look good.

But Pollard is one of my favorite skiers, and he destroys pretty much everything in the BC/Pow. (I realize he was a park innovator, but lets be honest switch unnatural 7's from propoganda or whatever aren't shit compared to the park scene now) There is a massive difference between good style off natural hits vs park features. They are clearly good at different things.

Not to mention the differences in compensation/age/exposure.
 
yeah double corks are played but his is very different no one does theres like him its kinda a late double cork i like it my favorite out of them all, it doesnt make me want to throw up
 
He fucking kills it, he is getting so good its crazy. It wont take long before we see him competing with the pros.
 
ha, kutcher? He is good but... come on. be real. His edit had literally 1/3 as many tricks and no rightside game on film??
 
You said style, you mentioned nothing about technicality in your first post. I was not commenting on technicality because that is not their thing. Put Dale on big powder booters or skiing lines switch and he would not be able to do it as well as those guys, just like they would not perform in a park as well as Dale.
 
im just gonna put my flamesuit on here and say that every time i watch this kid ski i wonder how the fuck he is going to land anything. kid slays. no doubt. just has the most sketchy style. i cant describe it. i fear for his life everytime i see him on a jump. if this wins KoS, then i have no hope for skiing.
 
dale, never falls. i ski with him every day and he legit never falls. if he wins, skiing is going in the right direction
