Dalbello or full tilt? NEEDDD HEELPP

Tom Wallisch wears fulltilt so that's what you have to wear if you want to be good. No other skier ever has even gone off a jump and survived without fulltilts. In California it's a law that to ski anything more than a blue you have to be wearing fulltilts.

All my buckles broke on my tilts and i have had zero luck finding parts . All the shops i taled to will only service the tilts that were purchased at their store otherwise they will run out of parts to keep up with demand. And yeah boot fitter

the internet is the only way to get a good fitting boots, based on your need i would suggest either a salomon spk (104mm lasted), full tilt hot dgger(99m lasted) or a nordica dobermann 150 worldcup(95mm lasted). but keep in mind the colour is the most important aspect of how it will fit your foot.

Fucking seriously? I know you want to be "steeze" like Tom Wallisch but buying a certain brand of boots won't do it for you. Buy boots based on what works better for you, not which boot has the best graphic. As everyone else said go to a boot fitter. Never order boots online, unless you've previously tried on the same boot in a shop, and even then, still a better idea to a shop and bring em back if you have any issues.

rampages have an 8mm (9?) shell so you can grind/punch them out a lot. its also really easy to change the flex on the hill if you so desire.

bootfitter first, they might both fit

Seriously depends on your feet - like everyone else I suggest a boot fitter! I have the lady version of the Krypton and I'm VERY happy with them (they did have some help from an experienced fitter to get them to be perfect on my feet) but they did fit better than anything else I tried and I'm in love now (although I was unable to try out FT so maybe next time I'm in the market...). If you're able to, try demo'ing both boots at a mountain so you know what both are like.

1. Try them on, one on each foot at the same time. See which you prefer. For me it felt like the FTs were low ankle boots. The dalbellos feel like they have more support. But that's just me.

2. Consider this for a sec. A lot of full tilts have plastic buckles. PLASTIC? On a ^$600 boot? The dalbellos have metal ones. The Full Tilt plastic, to the best of my knowledge, is a lot thinner than the dalbello plastic (in the lower shell). This makes the FTs lighter but it also means they wont be able to be worked as much as the dalbellos. Also have a look at the crank strap on FTs. Its very thin and doesn't feel that great. The quality just isn't there. The crank straps on dalbellos are much tougher. I have the Il Moros with the ratchet crank which I think is the best feature ever put on a boot, but that's just my opinion.

Summary: In my opinion, FT is a success of marketing over design. I know I've just committed newschoolers suicide by questioning the choice of the Hon. Tom Wallisch but if you're going to be using your boots for more than just park then don't overlook the dalbellos.
