Dalbello Lupo TI

So after seeing in a video that the replaceable soles had the same screw placement as my IL Moro's, I now am wondering if I could use the soles from standard KR2 shells, for days skiing park, and the touring soles for leaving the resort. ski about 70% park and 20% touring.

I'm looking to have a 1 boot quiver, +K.

Not much point, you still wouldn't have the tech insert in the toes as that's part of the shell.

If you want more grip when hiking, which is the only thing this would give you, get some ski boot crampons or those "cat track" things. Take less time than swapping over the soles and probably perform better.

The TI has tech inserts in the toe and heel.

I'm confused - if I'm understanding this correctly, you have Il Moros, and you want to buy Lupo TIs then interchange the soles depending on whether you want to ski inbounds or tour?

Why not just use the Il Moros inbounds and the Lupos to tour? Changing soles would become a pain in the ass.

As far as I know the "T.I." isn't getting swappable soles for din and tech. Probably not your best bet for a boot quiver killer. Maybe in the future they will work something out or if you are super confident you could mod the ti and hope for the best (this is a possibility not a recommendation).

P.S. This is based on forum talk so I am not 100% sure.

From seeing the bottom of the boot in videos, The screw placement and shape of the shell are the same, excluding the upper cuff and tech inserts.

My dad wants the shells of my IL Moros because the shells of his FT Hot Doggers cracked and my IL Moros are in pretty much new condition.

Start searching gear swaps and second hand stores for a set of FT or Krpyton shells for your dad. You can usually find them pretty cheap.
