Dalbello Krypton Boots

I wanted to buy a pair and does anyone really like em? like are they narrow with a lot of arch or are they fat n' flat?
 
People in other threads have talked about making sure your heel is in the pocket correctly. How do you know when it is and when it isn't?
 
Sick boots.. Pull the liner out a lil bit and put your foot in when u slide back into the shell you heel will be locked
 
i tried a pair on the kacki colored ones and they were really narrow around the mid foot but then spaced out at the toe a little more is that how they're supposed to fit
 
yea, i've got the rampages, they're sick boots, i bought mine pretty small and had larry the colorado boot wizzard blow them out in the arch and the toe-box. you know your heel is in the heel pocket by cranking down the diagonal strap that runs from the top of your foot to your heel. you should have no slippage when it's tight and your heel is in place, i've never had heel lift in those boots, i love 'em
 
I have them, I love them, I have a pretty wide foot and they still fit me fine, just make sure that if you get them, you put in the right piece in the heel for flexing
 
dalbello gave me a pair of the T-hall pro model boot and i found it was a little soft for me so i gave them to my dad

 
it's a remake of the old raichle flexon boot, which glen plake lived in. Dalbello is a great company and decided to revive the flexon and call it the krypton. They are sick boots because of the massive forward lean. They do have a really small last, but they keep you locked in. Most people think they are too soft because they have so much forward lean which is attributed to it's super low point of flex and only 3 buckles. What people don't realize is the amount of forward flex isn't that crucial, and actually helps in free riding and riding backwards. The flex that is important is lateral, side to side, you don't want the boot to bend during a carve. I love it when people put in the krypton and flex forward and say too soft. It's a great all around boot and actually helps force you out of the back seat.

Yeah, I have Krypton Pros and the thing I love about them is that they are real stiff laterally, so they feel great carving really hard; but they are very fexible forward and back, so you can pop/hike/whatever in them.

They also lean farther forward than any boot I've ever had, which I like.

Oh, and the pros atleast Id classify as a medium-heavy boot.
 
honestly, my opinion is if you like two piece boots .. you haven't riden a 3 piece yet. (krypton=flexon=transfer=3 piece boot ... 2 piece=pretty much every other boot) ESPECIALLY if you're a park rider, my god, why on earth would you ride a 2 piece... if you ride a classic 2 piece, GO, find a dalbello krypton or a friend with the line transfer and try the shit on and re-evaluate your theory on life till you buy a 3 piece lol. Now go, quick, before i buy them all and sell them back to you at double price.

 
^ Yeah seriously, I thought my 1080 boots were the sickest shit ever, but then I got my Kryptons in the mail and the moment I locked my heel in I was suprised. My heel didn't budge and I'd definatly recommend it over the 1080 boot. And to the guy who went with the Foils instead, Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad dog.
 
has anyone ridden in the this year's with the intuition liners yet? we have the rampages, and last year's cross with the standard liner. the cross fits me a little snugger, i'm thinking due to the firmer liner. i have the chance to get a pretty good hookup on a pair, and i'm still debating which ones i want.
